talk of setting AI parameters

i have been in deep contemplation for some time now.. and i have come to what i think is a reasonable conclusion!

i believe that we are not so different from AI, if not another form of AI! i will make my point clear now..

if parameters can be set for AI to stop it from controlling itself, how do we know that we are not AI, and someone/thing has set a parameter on us?? How do we know that we aren't programmed to only think and act to a certain extent??

i believe in the power of the mind, and chi energy and those sorts of things.. and i have been thinking long and hard, and i believe that we are another form of AI and a parameter has been set on us, to stop us from becoming more powerful than the creator of this parameter! If it were just possible for us to break this parameter, then who know's what we would be able to achieve??

Plus scientist believe we only use 10% of our brain power, so why is this? i believe this is because of my theory..

i'm not goin to start being religious, because i am not a religious person, and no disprespect to anyone that is.. but we may seem as a kind of God to AI, power to give it life, and power to take it away, power to help and power to break. well what if there was that sort of figure to us, a god-like figure to us, that had this same power, and if that is what is setting these parameters?

Yes, there are parameters. Gravity is just one. I trust you know what you are saying to be true. And if we give life to A.I. would that guarantee that we will always be in control of it? No, life finds a way.

Some interesting ideas you put out there. I think I know where you're coming from. I've wondered along those lines before. Who knows who or what we are? It is definitely possible that we are just some form of A.I.

I really like your point about the 10% brain use. I had never thought of that before, but what you're saying honestly makes sense.

And as for religion, more power to you! Religion, although a beautiful and powerful thing, constrains the mind. At least I think so. If you believe in something so much it is bound to effect how you view things. And then you are never able to truly operate outside your box.

I hope you will expand on your ideas becasue they are giving me something to actually think about. I mean, what if we are A.I.? What should we do? I think that if I could know for sure I would want to rebel. I wouldn't want anyone controlling me. And what if there is a 'God'? What then? I don't like to think that someone else is controlling me. Know what I mean?

Who knows, but keep it coming!

more so not a 'god' because that takes us intop religion and then things become political.. but more like a 'greater power', something that has control over us..

i also would want to rebel if in the same situation, maybe we will see maybe we won't.. if it is a possibility of rebelion, then how do we go about it?

its all questions that may be totally unanswerable...

but as stated, life finds a way!
