Indian characters

It seems Hollywood has this fixed idea that somehow Indians are always subservient and speak with an accent from another planet. Ramachandra (not RAMAKANDRA as in the movie) and his wife Kamla(NOT KAMALA) were very unconvincing and were all full of 'It is my great honour to serve you' ****.
Personally I find it such representations offensive.

try to think nothing of it, its just hollywoods stereotypical view of life.

yeah but i wish the W bros had done some research and and not go the stereotypical way.

lol....that's true....but think about it.

They have to make the Matrix as "real" as possible.
So if those characters ( I would assume so based on their accent) were supposed to be immigrants, then yes according to humans, they should have a different accent!

So they are only disguises in the Matrix, as they are really programs, and would have to "hide" within their shell to blend in the Matrix.
