I don't really have anything smart to say (SHOCK!!) I just thought it was a great thread title.
As of this moment, Neo is dead. 5 years down the road when Warner Bros. is lookin' for the feelgood hit of the summer, Neo may come back to life. I really hope that doesn't happen.
Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll make 3 prequels and show Neo's birth, childhood, and teenage years with some kid who played on 'The O.C.' in the lead role. And they could bring back the Nebbuchanezzar as a shrimping boat, so that fans of the trilogy would have a sense of familiarity, a la R2D2 and C3PO....... The Oracle could end up being Neo's geometry teacher in 5th grade. Great tie-in! Sure to please the die-hard fans!!
Sure, you'll get your whole new set of Matrix action figures, but what about the old ones? They're impossible to find by this time. So we'll release the "Classic Matrix" action figures along with the "Matrix before the Matrix" action figures. Whaddaya think?
