Neo's talk with machine mainframe

what if neo would have destroyed that machine like he did to the sentinels would the whole matrix system have crashed killing all the pod humans or would some backup file/matrix have started up

i bet the pods would've shutdown and killed everyone.

Neo wouldnt have done that anyway. THe major theme of Revolutions is symbiosis, or getting along. The machines can not live without the humans(power), while the humans must rely on the matrix in order to keep mankind alive(There is no sun;as a result, freeing all the minds would cause a very very large food shortage with no possible way of making enough food for everyone because there is no sun for crops and no animals living.)

well they sure do get their food from somewhere they dont need the matrix, and even with no sun there are other ways to grow crops there are sun lamps that are used today in "warehouse" farms
