There is no Spoon becuase...

All right, lets begin. Control. That is what M2 is about. M1 was about Belief. Humans control machines becuase machines control humans and vice versa. The architect said that he had created five other versions o fthe matrix. Everytime it produced an anomaly. That anomaly is Neo. They didn't know what to do with this anomaly. Now hold that thought.
The Matrix was first created perfect. It failed. No one was accepting the Matrix. The architect said that a woman came forth and created a version of the matrix that was accepted. he said that as long as people were given a choice they would accept. This choice, made sub-consiouly, was either hte fluffly matrix or the real world. But they are all one program. That is hard fact.
Back to the first thought. Now that we have a two sided matrix, we also have Neo, the anomaly. They are used against eachother. In order to control human's they are given a choice wether or not they want to go into the real world or fake. THose in the real world will do there whole 'lets save the world' bit and it will soon come to a point and erupt in this huge war. But's its supposed to do that. Meanwhile Neo is the one. He is controlled by one huge choice. Ether save Trinty or Zion. But in fact, Zion is fake.
So Neo will chose a door. This has happened five times before. Depending on what door Zion will be destroyed along with the matrix. It has happened five times before. Than everything will start over. It will become a cycle. Seven females and twenty three femals will be allowed to begin in the real world part of the matrix in order to begin rebuilding Zion (The start of life.)
They will assume they were just NOT plugged into the matrix and start the whole Adam and Eve deal.
Soon, after hundreds of years people will start freeing minds, and a man will be discovered that will be able to bend the matrix to his will. He will die and hundreds of years later another will be born based on prophecy of the other who died. But this prophecy will be born near the end of the Matrix, where he will have a choice to ether save Zion or save... get it?
But there's something different. Actually, many things different. The Matrix, in it's sixth version, is unstable. There is this oracle woman helping Neo. She wasn't here in the five other versions.
This exiled program smith, he wasn't in the other five versions. (He will end up helping Neo in the end) And Trinity. She is the Mother of the Matrix, and is in love with Neo. This never happened before.
Why does she love Neo? Becuase she is a program. Unaware. And so in Neo. I'll explain more later if you want to hear why Neo is a program, and why there is no spoon.

Ok if trinity is the mother of the matrix, then she ist he one who created the matrix just like the arch said. now if this is true then why would she risk her life and all the ohter **** she does just to save nohting...and risk dieing...?

Thats the best explanation of the matrix inside a matrix theory I've heard so far. Although the stuff you said at the end I dont agree with.
The oracle has been there for all the Ones, she even said so when shes talking to Neo. Also, I dont think Trinity is the mother of the matrix, I think its the Oracle. Because when Neo is talking to the Architect and he mentions the "mother of the matrix", Neo says "the Oracle?", and The Architect says "please...". Alot of people took this to mean that the Oracle is not the mother of the matrix. I took it as to mean why call her the oracle, because she isnt actually an oracle, she just knows everything because shes seen it all before in previous versions of the matrix. I dunno just a thought ;)

How do you know Smith will end up helping him?

How can you be sure Trinity is even the mother, she isnt even a program..

The things you say are still all in theory becasue we dont know if it a matrix within a matrix.

He didnt exactly imply she wasnt the mother but the fact that shes considered an oracle.

I believe the Oracle is the mother but there of course is still the possibility that she isnt.

if shes not the mother, the only other person in my mind is persephone. and thats just because of her name.

The Merovingian said choise is only an illusion. Therefore when the Architect offered Neo a choice, he in fact wasn't offering anything.

The Architect said that 1% of the population wouldn't accept the Matrix, therefore Zion exists.

So, I guess everyone in Zion is still plugged into yet another Matrix that must have a top level at some point.

But why go throught the whole war scenario if Zion is only a Matrix. If that was true and Neo, while he is the one could simply be taken over by agents of the Zion Matrix.

Simply, can someone explain why the Architect needs to go through the trouble of destorying Zion, if its only another Matrix. That just makes no sense. please explain.

Shane there stil is no hard evidence to confirm that it is a matrix within a matrix. I hope they dont make it so it is another matrix though, thats to predictable and confusing.

I believe it's because the One gets his powers based on being the remainder of all the anomolies in the matrix. If this power was left to build, the anomolies increase, the remainder to grow - maybe that would crash the system.

So instead, they reboot. Just like you reboot windows when the bugs are too annoying. Or maybe like a reinstall of Windows \, you just want to start over.

PS: Loved the matrix in a matrix explanation. Seems there are a lot of ways people are saying it that boil down to agreeing there is a matrix in matrix.

Well I guess we just can't eliminate the possiblity that Zion is a Matrix created for the 1% that don't accept the Main Matrix.

Other than the fact that if Zion is just a Matrix, the machines could just hit the reset button and bye-bye problem.

If Zion is a layered Matrix that explains why Neo "could" have extra powers within it. But I think thats kinda dumb. However, Agent Smith being a self replicating virus could infect everything. In fact when he infects somebody he is also freeing them / Unplugging them from the Matrix, because Agent Smith duplicates don't have ear plugs.

Well, the Oracle does infact say something like, Ohh, you catch on much faster than the others. So, she was there for the previous 5.

The Architech said we had destroyed Zion 5 times previously. This means that Zion has to be a Second Matrix, how else would you be able to kill all the "real people" more than once?

I would however like to hear his thoughts on the spoon. I have no idea what it represents and why it was given to him in the second episode.

It will be very interesting to watch the final episode.

Neo is a program. In M1 Morheus said there was a man bron inside the Matrix with the power to bend the Matrix at his will. This is the anomaly. This is Neo, the sixth. He is a program, unaware. So is Trinity. She was a program that found a way to deal with the Matrix and acceptence, becoming the mother. Her mind was erased after they didn't need her and after that who know's. Or does she know she is the mother? Makes you think.
Now when they keep saying, 'only human' to Neo, what does that mean? It might mean he thinks he is still human, therefore he is. What happens once he relizes he's a program. What can he do then? He could destroy the matrix, and break the cycle, so there would be no other version...ever...
Remember when that kid ran up as Neo and crew were departing and handed him a spoon wrapped in a towel? That may be more than just a tie in with the first movie. Maybe it is saying something. There is no spoon. That could mean there is no zion, it could mean Neo is a program. It could mean anything, or it could be a tie in with the Matrix.
Neo is an anomaly. The anomaly. But he is the one in a higher sense. He is the one who will stop this cycle. He will wake all those in the matrix dream world and real world. He will TRULY wake up everyone.
Smith has a peice of Neo's program code. Now he is somewhat an anomaly himself. If he destroys the Matrix he dies...but does he want to die? I believe so. I believe in the end he will want to stop this Matrix and the cycle, like the Oracle.
The oracle wasn't in the other Versions. She isn't becuase the French man who claims he survived the other anomaly's said that she would soon die. If he had survived before, why not kill her long ago? Becuase she is something new.
This is of course all theory. I could and probably very well am wrong. But it would be awsome. Please ask questions.

I think some of you are off base. I'm convinced the "Oracle" is the mother, and the machines plant her to control the humans. The prophecy is a lie, and the Oracle is just another way of keeping the humans (and the anomaly) in line.

I think she was there in the other matrixes, and since the third movie is called "Revolutions" I think she'll be in the next version of the matrix. Who knows. Maybe the machines and the humans find a way to co-exist better.

The spoon is essential , Because in the matrix it's bendable.
BUt is it bendable in the zion reality?
Why else would it be given to neo?
I believe it to be a symbolic reminder of the rules that apply to both worlds.
Giving Neo the non-bended spoon , is to point out that the rules within the zion reality are different than the matrix.
I think there's a different answer to the matrix within a matrix theory. That's story telling repetition everyone could have tought of that. The filmmakers are probably laughing their asses of seeing us trying to decypher the whole matrices problem,I believe the answer to be right under our noses.

The way the architect has described Zion gives you an impression thst Zion truly isn't the "real world". The spoon could truly mean nothing, I personally think it doesn't mean a thing, but the creators of this movie really go at you with details and small things in the movies. The things that were said about the Oracle doesnt mean she wasnt around before but I think she is hiding because she is facing deletion, she is where others take exile to prevent deletion, the oracle for some reason also has alot of enemies, I wanna know who and why that is.
I still believe that Trinity is not the mother of the matrix though.
The theory on Neo being merely a program could be true, but if he saves the day and trinity and Morpheus are alright and the whole idea of waking them up in the real world to the REAL REAL world, how could he be waken up? He couldnt :-/ He is merely a program in the matrix like the smith.
Like all programs, they serve a purpose. Neo's purpose is pretty much shown.

I'm excited to see how this whole movie unfolds.
