Revolutions Conclusion

Now that I have the sense that many of you recent fans that

replied to my first forum "4th Matrix" that believe there should be

no Matrix 4 have made me a believer too. Now, the only way

there should be no Matrix 4 is if this is how the ending is

interpreted by many of the viewers of Matrix Revolutions.

Trinity dies after her purpose of getting Neo to the machines safely is done. Neo's only reason to live was for Trinity. Neo
walks to the machines and explains to the machine king that
if Agent Smith is not stopped he will soon take over their world.
Neo explains to the machine king that he can stop Agent Smith.
Neo goes into the Matrix and stops Agent Smith by sacrafising
himself to save the world and bringing peace to humand and
machines. Trinity dies, Neo has no will to live, Neo sacrafises
himself to save the world, end of story.

If this is to be true, and I have interpreted the movie right, then

there should not be a 4th Matrix filmed. My case is closed after

reviewing all of your replys to my old forum. Thank you so kindly.

I agree with some of what you said. But like the star wars franchise, the story continues. Maybe not in movies, but in books and comics and such.
This is also what I think will happen with the matrix, only the story will go on in the form of the comics and TMOL. Good post though.

Excuse me for not agreeing with you completely. Although I'm a sucker for a good romantic movie, the Matrix is so much more than that to explain the ending away as Neo sacrificing himself because Trinity died. That is way too easy for a movie the has half of the world, if not more, trying to interprete the significance of it. The W bros are telling a story. A great story. A story based on much more than love. The Matrix movies are about dependence on technology, future scenarios if we are not careful, our human ego but also human emotions like greed, betrayal, loyalty, hope, rage, love, curiosity, choice, instinct, power, fear, etc. That's what makes the Matrix so great. The W bros put all our human emotions (pros and cons) into a futuristic scenario where it will mean and signify something different to each of us. Don't you get it. We are not machines. We do not have one conciousness. We don't think alike. We're human with different degrees of understanding and thinking. That's what the W Bros were banking on $$$$$$ It hits everybody differently. We will never totally agree on the ending. This is not your ordinary movie of a bank heist, or boy gets girl, or a true life depiction. We can't get a real sense of closure on this one because it was meant to be that way.

The matrix is a journey that goes full circle with the beginning and the ending at the same spot.

Frankly, to me...The Matrix trilogy is one of the best trilogies ever!...with a bunch of religious and subtle messaging along the way.....that's all...

I dont think any one knows if there is goin to be a 4th matrix, but it could happen in a couple of years or more, like the TERMINATOR , it may take years for the 4th matrix to come.

it was never said in the movie that trinity's purpose was to get neo to the machine city. just think about it, if morpheus purpose was to find the ONE, morpheus would be dead along time ago.

and correct me if im wrong but i tought purpose only existed in the matrix, not in the reald world.

if trinity died because she took neo to the machine city and that was her purpose. i can only see this happening if the real world was a matrix too.

I know purpose only exists in the Matrix and that it was not her

purpose to get Neo to the machine world, I just didn't have a lot

of time thinking of what to write, I kind of just jot things down as

I remembered them. But yes, if it was her purpose which it was

not, that would make her a program and she was definitly not

one in the least. If there is to be a 4th Matrix, I would hope they

reunite Neo and Trinity, and have a son in their new world, and

that the three of them go on to take on the Arcitec, the Oracle,

and the Oracle's body guard. And the winner to go on to rule the

machine world above earth and the human world below earth.

This would just totally rock!

your theory sounds good. But I think $$$$ will somehow play a factor in if there's gonna be a 4th.

It´s hard for me to say it but i have to. I don´t think there´s gonna be a 4th matrix. First, Humans had to destroy the machines to destroy the matrix and it was clear that humans had no chance against machines. Second, the Oracle´s purpose was to end the war and avoid the destruction of the matrix. She handle all the events the way she wanted. The ending of revolutions is the end of a cicle and the beginning of another. I want more than anything to see a 4th matrix (call it MATRIX RESURRECTION) but don´t think that it would be possible.
