Ending left Wide open

After watching revolutions a coule times i notice how the ending is wide open for a sequel, there are too many questions unawnsered and delicate situations that maybe wont last like for example the peace between zion and the machines, i mean the only reason they called peace was because smith was out of control and neo was the only one to stop him so the machines called peace now that neo has fixed the problem whats to stop the machines from attacking again.

I agree. Beside I heard somewhere that Reloaded and Revs were one movie in two parts, so that actually counts are Matrix movie 2. Matrix 1 ends when Neo is making the phone booth call. Matrix 2 Reloaded starts with the meeting of the capitans and where Morpheus and gang show up late. It ends where Neo and the other ugly guy are in a coma. Revs starts exactly there, with neo and ugly guy in coma. It continues. It ends with Neo being hauled away by the machines. I am a very optimistic Matrix fan that is hoping for the Matrix movie 3.

There was too much left unexplained and unanswered. Morpheus said it in M1, the One will bring about the DESTRUCTION of the Matrix and FREE all humans. This is not what happened at the end of Revs. The deal Neo made with the machines was for PEACE by ending the war. It not the same as FREEDOM.

I think that when the peace is broken, it will be the humans that do it. I don't see the machines going back on their pact. Recanting is a human emotion. The machines are still in control, humans can't accept that.... EVER. We can't, we created them and now they'll call the shots?

yes revolutions and reloaded were intended as one movie, now that you mention than it does seem odd Neo didnt destroy the matrix and he didnt free all the humans, so in effect the war is still going on its like they called a cease-fire sorta like they hit the pause button and i agree with that yes the humans will be the ones to break the peace not the machines. Even though one easy quick solution to end the war would be to destroy the pod towers sure it would mean killing possibly millions of pod humans but it would end the vicous cycle of the machine attacks and the machines would lose their most important power source, it would greatly weaknen them but the arc said that there were other levels of survival..
