I was wondering about when Smith Called the Oracale Mom, so i thought that the Achatech said "Oh Please" Was he lying that she was the mother of the Matrix.

I think it was just a statment he was making about the Oracle being the "mother" of the Matrix.

Yea.. Don't try to go to deep into things. Just a statement, nothing more.

I thought about that too. The Arch defitniely says "Please" when Neo thinks the "Mother of the Matrix" is the Oracle, thus implying that it is not the Oracle.

But in Rev., Smith does call the Oracle "Mom"???? Some redundancy here and I'd like to hear some educated opinions on this. The Wach. bros. are very meticulous about the dialogue and symbolism in the movies, so what is goin on here?

Ok i just wasnt sure, thats all...

well think about it, mabey he didn't like to hear that the oracle whas (in sort of a way) his wife, mabey there divorced.

and because smith is a program created in the matrix. he is sort of a son of the oracle

I second that, that seems like a logical explanation. When the Architect said "Please.." I don't think he was denying that she was the Mother of the Matrix but instead didn't want to have any connection to her.

IMO there is a simple explanation for this.

He said "please" the way he did because Neo referred to her as "the Oracle" when in fact she was no real oracle to him. She only knew what was going to happen all the time because she has been through it time and time again. If you watched the same movie over and over again, and then went to a friends house who hasnt seen it before (and to his knowledge, you hadnt either) and "predicted what was going to happen, does that make you an oracle? And if your friend said to me, "wow, he must be an oracle, he knows what happens before it happens" I would say "PLEASE!"

I think that is a very good point, because the prcale said anyone can see the future just not past the chices you dont understand, she said that NEo had the gift of sight, so i bet its just a gift yopu have to have....
