Matrix Resurrections Theory

This is mere speculation, so I didn't think it deserved to go in the Revolutions spoilers section, but apparently in an interview, Keanu Reeves said the Matrix is about birth, Reloaded, life and Revolutions, death. He said it could be called "The Matrix: Resurrections". Now I've been thinking about this and perhaps it means that Neo will die, without the war ending. Now perhaps the W. Brothers may link this with the Buddhist prophecy/legend of the Dalai Lama (not sure if I spelled it correctly).

Anyway, the DL (I'll refrain from spelling it wrong again if I have) has apparently gone through several incarnations, I think the current DL is the sixth or seventh. Anyway, after the current one dies, his priests search his birthplace for a boy born around the same time as his death. They then present the child with objects, one of which was the possession of the DL. If the child chooses correctly, he is determined to be the next incarnation of the DL and is taken to the monastery to live his life, and so on and so forth down the ages.

Most of that is irrelevant to the matrix but as we already know, there have been several "incarnations" of The One. If Neo dies without accomplishing the end of the war, perhaps another will be born inside to take his place (we already know that if the matrix remains intact, the anomaly will also survive in the system) Anyway, something to think about.

There will be an M4, sometime in the future.

1) Insert Matrix DVD into DVD Drive;
2) Press Play;
3) Remove Matrix DVD from DVD Drive;

4) Insert Matrix : Reloaded DVD into DVD Drive;
5) Press Play;
6) Remove Matrix : Reloaded DVD from DVD Drive;

7) Insert Matrix : Revulsions DVD into DVD Drive;
8) Press Play;
9) Remove Matrix : Revulsions DVD from DVD Drive;

10) Goto 1.

Actually if it would to be called Ressurections it would probably be talking about Jesus who was ressurected on Easter... as we know. Ya but you get the point... the Jesus allusion is talked about in numerous other threads so go check those, won't bother trying to retype what has been mastered already

Myriad, very interesting. It sounds correct, also. I too believe that the Matrix saga is not over. The fact that they left the ending so open is only a hint that there will be movies after the trilogy. There has to be. Well, I hope atleast.

I didn't hear him say that but I thought up that name a few days ago (wrote a post about it too) entitled "4th movie ... something" I t is cool that Keanu said it too - did he really?
