Dunno whether its been mentioned before but.... the indian man at Mobil Ave appears to be the same man led away from the merevincian in Matrix Reloaded.... he gave Neo a look and Neo seems to recognize him somewhat. The indian did say he was from the merevincien restaurent.
Anyone have the same observation???
Now, did Neo recognize him becoz he was prevously in Mobil Ave or???
Yeah i just checked that, thanks. You could be right!

Have you played Enter The Matrix, when the Oracle explains her change in apperance she hints at him.
theres a thread about that somewhere here, his name is ramacandra or something, he says he saw Neo at the frnechman's restaurant in revolutions. (you see it in reloaded)

Just registered here, and looking around and had to comment on this as i was gonna post his up somewhere anyway!
Kind out of context...as I'm explaining the change in Oracle in the movie though.
How about this for the Orcacle changing her shell:
It actually doesn't have to do anything with the storyline I believe, and rather to the fact that the woman who played Oracle died while/or before filming of M3.
This led to the W brothers adapting the storyline just enough to explain the way she looks. Sorry, I was not convinced of that otherwise, but done very cleverly. Better than letting the audience assume she was the same Oracle, as has been done w/ some other characters in movies before. The general audience would've been even more confused then....lol. I mean cmon...we're the exceptions here to that ;)

Very true, but I dont know the girl seems important atleast other than to explain to Neo machines feelings of love.
Maybe right at the end of the movie when the camera moves away from the Oracle they could of with CGI created the orginal Oracle.
Thats so sad, the original oracle (Gloria Foster) died of Diabetes (sp?) right after they shot that scene with her and neo in Reloaded:(
Yeah she looks really pale :(
Yeah, I agree with supaman on the Oracle. The original actress Gloria Foster was supposed to play her again on Revolution but died. The W.bros said that the Oracle would still be back in Revolutions.... I was thinking they were gonna CG her or something..... instead, they got a replacement and wrote the plot lines around, just enough to explain the different look....
Back to the Indian man.... why was he so helpful to Neo? His wife was obviously peeved.
Also, he said that Kama was a word... to serve a purpose. So, did he have a baby girl so that they would end up in Mobil Ave and meet Neo so that he could tell him that speech? That was his kama? His purpose?
If, so then, the girl seti DID have a purpose.... after all. And as the Oracle would have said, "But you already know that."
=)
Gloria's death is discussed all over this site. Try the search button.
To answer one of the posts above about him helping Neo even when his wife gave him dirty looks, remember Neo is probably known for his power over programming or the likes, and his wife either hates him, or is afriad. As for him being seen in Reloaded, I agree. He looks really familiar.

hey zplus,
Let me clear this up a bit. I don't think that word was "kama". Possibly "karma"......u know from the Hindu beliefs of basically do unto others as you would have done to you (btw, lot of the cool sayings reflect the teachings from those beliefs......a proof is Don Davis's song....u can find it somewhere if u search. As well as other refrences to many religions.....very cool).
We'll know for sure when we check the script, but I think it was just coincidental of him and Neo meeting there. Nothing to do with his purpose (but explains things for the plot ). I'm not sure of this either, but the Indian man (a program and his purpose is not known to me) and his wife (another program) supposedly were able to reach the stage of "love" somehow. Their "love" fosters (creates) another program (baby), which is Satti. Since Satti was crated out of "love"......she had no purpose, so to speak.
Programs w/o a purpose face deletion, and therefore she was exiled. The only program able to help w/ this is Merivingian, and so the Indian man went to him, and was introduced to the "Train Man"......the program linking the "path" between the Matrix and programs waiting to be deleted so to speak.
Its still unclear to me though how Neo, unplugged got to Mobil Ave, because when he awakes, we seem him get unjacked. So I'm assuming Trinity and them got Merivingian to spill some things, and how to bring him back, and thus plugged Neo back in to get him out. (whew..........make sense?)
Merivingian.....that's another hairball i'm trying to figure out.
Still reading Matrix Explained ver 2.0, and see if that helps. Thus i'm still jacked in here.......lol.

It is karma, the word your talking about.
well...as explained by the previous post, he was the man in the restaurant speaking with the Merovingion...he was striking the deal to keep Sati in the Matrix and avoid deletion, the deal required the Oracle's termination codes which she voluntarily gave up for the girl's sake...
Neo's mind possessed enough Matrix information to keep him connected to the system at all times...when he entered his coma, his conciousness followed the code information as it returned to Mobil Avenue as all programs do....despite being human, he's still treated like a program in the Matrix
Thanks Supaman,
That explains a whole lot!
You are right about the Merivingian though. What is his purpose or maybe he is also an exile who chose not to be deleted and makes his home in the Matrix together with his goulish fiends. I also wondered if he was taken over by Smith when he multiplied throughout the matrix. Merivingian does not seem to posses any physical powers, he just looks like a rich man who could hire lots of henchmen.
The indian man did mention that love is just another word... which serves a purpose. So to him, love's purpose in terms of satti, is to feel this strong attachement to do anything so that they can be together as father and child.
You could be right that they were written in the plot just to explain the Mobil Ave bit.

Ya....this got me thinking where i had read something before.....possibly "wirelessly" if u will.
but have to comment on something here .....Spyder.
I don't think the Oracle gave up her termination codes at all though. It did not even get to that point, since Trinity.......had the gun on Merivingian. Therefore they got that off of him, and saved Neo. So not sure what u meant by that.
Agent Smith however, is a different story!!
("Cookies need love too.........muhaaaaaaa").
That was hysterical.....cruel.....but hysterical.......lol :)
