the end of revolutions.

i'm not happy at all about the end of revolutions. is Neo dead? it all doesn't make sense. it's an end that says: there'll be another matrix movie. will there be another matrix movie? ever? some day?

It would be sweet but very doubtful.

but you got to think about it. if a 4th one comes and Neo returns (alive and well) i don't think he would whant to live with out Trinity. and what kind of story line would they have to use. the WAR is over, there is peace. and the oracel said it will last a long time !

Ok first, I think that Neo's physical body is dead. But his mind isn't, I think it was implanted in the machines via the electricty at the end.

Second, there will NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER be a 4th Matrix.

i really dont think they will wana stop there, with the ending they got, of course as u can see the ending makes no sence it continues like there will be more, "people you just wait for it" just like matrix 1 and 2, think about it, would u really wana stop there with an ending that makes some sence and also at the same time it doesnt, and the moneyyyyyyy mmmmm everyone is hungry for money i think there will be another matrix

Neo is dead. Perhaps his mind is still alive somehow, and I'm sure if there was ever a 4th installment in the Matrix series, the Wachowskis would try to explain that. However, there will be no more Matrix movies. Basically this ending just shows us how we as human beings are flawed. All the events will occur again. When the Oracle says that someday, we will see Neo again, I believe she refers to the fact that all these events will occur again, and that it will take another being like Neo to end the war. In a way, I felt the empty at the end. However, now that I really look back on it, it is satisfying. It's saying "hey, this crap is going to happen again....there really is no final resolution, only temporary solutions" and I like that. It may not be as evident of a "mind screwing" going on there, but needless to say, I think the Wachowskis made their point. Oh, and the Oracle basically just screwed everyone in a way when she manipulated them.

i'm glad to know that you liked what i had to say, and most of you are wondering about the end of revolutions, just like me.

i know that this was the end of the matrix, but what was the point of introducing the little girl who created the sun rise for Neo? and why did the Oracle say that she expected peace to last as long as it can? i don't see Neo being the ONE without Trinity, but why didn't they show us that he's dead so we would know that the matrix is really finished? so i'ts possible that they want us to hope for more of the matrix. maybe they'll come up with an idea to bring it back, maybe not.

but i still say, if that was the end of the matrix, then it was not a good end!

I think, the ending of revolutions was intended to show us that all the events that we saw on the three movies are a loop. Revolutions close this loop and and open the next one. That´s in a general way my thought.

what loop u talking about? is neo the ONLY ONE? was there a one before him? if it looped, all the humans should of been dead there? they destroyed ZION 6 times already? and meaning less too say was the onem choose to say we want peace? if so its pretty lame, and how long will the peace last? untill machines get warried humans will grow bigger and advance, does that mean a ship can fly anywhere and machines wont do anthing?

yes, exactly.... but i dont think the bros would ever be satisfied with there ending unless it was mostly open ended, they've tried to make us think all along, and did a pretty good job of it, so i dont think that its much of a surprise that there final ending seemed "unsatifying". Thats the only way they could ever keep us wondering and guessing

i think if u where just a normal person, u would be unhappy with the ending, thinking well is this it? u would expect the good guys too win, but since u most people on here are matrix fanatics they understand the story line, where for many its about the action and the wicked stunts they pull off, and if they make matrix 4, it wont be because of fanatics, it will be for those who like the action packed movie with the effects for the people that love that sort of stuff, there are more normals people then fanatics in the world....

Well, as u said it doesn't make sense what happened in the end of revolutions, as for me I believe that Neo and Trinity made it that far not to let us down, but as I always say: "This is how the director wants it!!!" Nice honesty babygirl, keep going.
