It will be nice playing against other people in this game rather than playing against dumb AI in enter the matrix. Hopefully they don't have a clipping problem either:).

At this point, anything would be better than ETM.

I think it will because they have been workin on dis game for awhile and from the new technologies of 2004, it will have alot better graphics.

Its made by a completely different company, a more respectable well knwon company. also its an MMORPG which is just plain cool anyway :)

I think it will be awsome, it's supposed to be continuing the story or something so I want it to come out soon! I just can't wait even though there won't be anymore movies..

I hope they don't make hacks for The Matrix Online, that would suck

Everyone has their own opinion but well never know until TMO finally comes out, my guess is that by far TMO will be much better.

ETM got boring after a while, no surprise seeing how most console games do..

But it is rarely ever that a MMORPG gets boring because of how much you can do in the game.

Hard to compare, it are different genres! I liked ETM at first, and the cutscenes almost made it worth the buy, but TMO doesn't have any cutscenes like that so if it is going to suck (I don't hope so!) it would have little to compensate.

by the way does anyone know whether a singleplayer-mode will be added?

No idea.. I wish they'd release some more information about the game already! I'm getting antsy.

One thing you have to respect about ETM is the ambitiousness of the game. to so completely tie into a movie like that was never done before. enjoyed the cutscenes and the alternate points of view for reloaded. in retrospect they should have done the game based on revolutions. there is alot going on and not alot of screen time alloted to the majority of characters.

My one hope for Matrix Online is they use animated shorts to advance the story in game. they tried it with Anarchy Online but stopped doing it due to cost.

Maybe they could tie in shorts or plots of the movies with quests that you have to complete.

Most MMORPGs have quests that one must complete to attain a character class. These quests could be movie based... But who knows, this is pure speculation.

true enough. i wish, now that revolutions is out, that they would release more info about MO. the page has not changed since May 14.

Yea I think they're just having their fun with us. They need to stop holding out. :(

Well i've been holding off getting into an MMORPG since I heard about MO. I would hate to wait for MO and then have it delayed for an additional 6 months. Really want to try Final Fantasy XI. But if MO is coming soon, don't want to invest time and money into that.

you do understand there are games like Phantasy Star Online which span the globe too....this won't be the first time you get to scream for your mommy to someone in Japan.

I really liked ETM. Some parts were pretty cool tho some others were soso... Tho Ive played few fightin games to compare... I think its a big mistake not to have real time fighting in MO. Of course it unbalance the game as some kids can really kick ass in realtime but thats when you group for protection anyway...

Id rather play with 1500 payers per server like planetside vs 5000 like SWG and get a very boring experience which im starting to feel with SWG after 3 months play...

TMO is definitely going to be better than ETM, although i do think that ETM was a pretty fun and exciting experience the first time through. it just didnt have great replay value. The only sad part is that TMO like most MMORPG's could very well be delayed. look at FFXI it was delayed for like atleast a year right? we probably wont see TMO until atleast may of 04, but i still have my fingers crossed :)
