When the neb picked up Neo out of the water in m1 how did they get that close to the feilds without sentinals on there ass

As seen in Revolutions, the defense system for the machines was located just off the side of the fields. Neo and Trinity had no problems getting through the "desert of the real" without being attacked, until they got close to the machine city (possibly 01).

Although, there could have been sentinals guarding the human crop fields and the towers where people plugged into the matrix are held. I think that, since this is all repitition, the machines decided not destroy anyone who tried to unplug people, because some of them knew that there had to be a "one" and there had to be people in zion to go to war with. Otherwise there would be no systemic anomaly or zion, and thus the equation necessary to reload the matrix would not be balanced.

It's much like the agent programs: They could be a lot more powerful than they are. Instead of taking over just people, why couldn't they take over entire programs like buildings and such?The anser is simpe: they were only built to be powerful to control problems THAT DID NOT DIRECLTY THREATEN THE MATRIX. They couldn't be powerful enough to destroy the one, because, as i stated before, the equation would not be balanced.

They were sort of in the disposal area. See, when Neo took the red pill, it disturbed his inward/outward carrier signals, so the machines thought he was dead and sent him down the garbage shoot, where the Neb was waiting =) Fun, right?

I agree with Senai, any humans flushed down those shoots are considered 'dead' to the machines. A spider machine actually had Neo by the neck, untill his signals read as deceased, and it let him go. Even if a human isn't dead, the Architecht needs that 1% of rebellious people free, so they can group together for easier disposal.

mabey were the neb was waiting, the sentinels coudn't reach. and mabey when neo whas flushed, they machines did think he whas just dead. and not use full any more. but morpheus said: They liquidfy the dead, to nurise the living.
