this is getting out of control!!!!!

ive just looked in the matrix forum and there are three topics the same they are all on best actor and there are two on the best movie arent people reading them...look before u type. i know people have complained about this before but somthing has to be done!

i agree...some of these people ARE getting out of control! they should scroll down the threads or do a quick search.

It's no use. There's too many new n00bs everyday that do the exact same thing. There is nothing you can do to stop them, since they never read the rules or see the search button, they just come up with an idea and post it. I wish that some of us could become moderators, but I was told that there can only be a few moderators (i forgot why).

Wait a minute, only n00bs are people who havent been on this site a long time or havent had a lot of posts.I think we can all agree that DonutDude is stil a n00b, but soon he will evolve....into 50 posts which is the standard level of non-n00bness

There's not really a written code to what a n00b is. If you make dumb posts, you're a n00b. If you spam w/o knowing what spam is, you're a n00b. If you talk and act like you're a vet and/or make fun of other n00bs when you are fairly new (like donut dude), then you are the ubern00b. If you dont search and then post, n00b to the max.

As long as you write well thought, meaningful, or informational posts on this site, you are the furthest thing from a n00b.

Maybe an Admin should delet all those 1 or 0 posters because if that goes on like that we'll have 20mio threads about the ending of revo.

sometimes, you really can't avoid this. that's why there are moderators. hey, do this forums have auto-purge as well? i mean only for posts that have been here for a number of months something like that.

Ahh, the days of being a n00b are gone, and the days of being a vet have set in. I need to say this

Being a n00b isn't a bad thing. It is a way of life. It is the title you are given when you are new to doing something. Why take offense to it, everyone in this site was at one time a n00b, so we all know what a n00b is, and we are just trying to tell the people that are under 50 posts, to just act cool, dont spam, dont flame, do a search before they post, and put insightful meaning to their posts. This rule apply's to everyone, even after you have 50 posts. It is just that the vets have been doing those few simple rules for so long, it has become second nature to them. Dont argue with a vet, because they know what is going on. Im a vet. I have been here long enough to know these few things.

I hope I have cleared a few things up.
I want everyone to get along. This is kind of like the military, if your commander is telling you to not do something, then dont do it, there is a good reason. Have a nice day.

You don't need high posts to not be a n00b. Even if you just sign up you are a n00b until you act like one. n00bs Post ovious threads that have definatly been done before. Spam like crazy and piss everyone off.

My name is a fredsmooth and I'm a newb. :D I run a Madden football forum thats about 5000 people, so we get newbs everyday. They just dont seem to get out of hand like it is here.

I've read the forums since sept but didnt actually register til last week. I've done my part in following the rules and posting things with some substance, its crappy that i'm lumped in with the idiots who dont follow rules.
