Am i just really slow or did no one else notice it.........
The LOOP train is also in the original matrix.......
what does this mean.....is it nothing....surely it has some relevance to the 3rd movie which is why i posted it here...
it is in the Subway Station where NEO and SMITH fight
does the train say LOOP on it? i think it was a real train since it was in the matrix... not the submatrix world.
i definently saw loop.......i saw it and then thought what the f.uck......so i searched back and played and it said loop again...
it was definiently in the matrix world because there is a hardline at that station (where trinity gets out. and the phone gets shot by smith)
Yeah...I raised this ages ago. It's there alright, and possibly the exact train they used for trainman's sequences. It might be another reminder of the 'revolution' theme they keep dropping in the movies...
Also a small point, in the 3rd, it sais LOOP, and then what I thought was funny about it was when neo tried to chase it, he did what.... ( all together kids ) ... a loop :)
the trainstaion Neo was trapped in was all white...the one he fought Smith in wasn't...the white one was clean..the not white one...had a hobo in it....I don't think there is a connection....the one in the first movie was just a subway.
I just metioned this in another thread [about the Loop train in M1]
Sorry, but I think you guys are reading way too much into every aspect of this movie. Yeah, sure.. when I saw the Revolutions trailer and I saw the 'Loop' word and all this talk on 'Limbo' I thought it too.. but the 'Loop' is simply a train system.
There are Loop roads in Britain and I'm sure if someone can be bothered looking, you'll find 'Loop' tracks in the Australian train systems
ok, here we go..
I got this from an Australian site regarding transportation
source: http://www.swin.edu.au/hosting/iaeste/preparation.htm
Public Transport
Melbourne’s transport system is called the MET and includes trains, trams and buses. Trams are primarily used in the inner city. The City Circle tram is free and circles around the city. Watch out for its burgundy colour. The Inner City also has a underground train loop system that links outer suburban train lines.
I hope this clears up some kind of "theory"...
It is the same train. The place in M1 looks different because that is the part of the train in the matrix, so it has to be disguised to look like soemthing that would fit into the matrix. Why else would it say LOOP on the train both times, and it does say it both times, I just checked the first one.
Lol, come on now y'all....
I think the LOOP train was in M1 on purpose. I think it was one of those things they put in there to make us say, 'hmm. . .'.
Just like the Tastie Wheat ads.
i agree i think that it was put there just to get us thinking. I also noticed that. lol. I just thought i was thinking way to much into the movie. oh well if i am. so what if i like the movie. it kicks a*%
i dont think we are reading too much into the movie.....if it was put there .... it was put there for a reason......
it might actually be the place where the trainman jumps across the tracks......but then again there is no other side to the station for him to land on
Dam, I'm never gonna slam anyone for liking a movie or looking at it in depth but can none of you see that for once, maybe this is nothing deeper than a simple train service??
Do none of you think that because of all the 'theories' that were hashed up from the trailer, you just want there to be something more in this than the obvious?
Lol, no one reply with.. "look past the flesh...."

....????
but ANY train that would have past through that underground system, would have said 'Loop' on it. It stands to reason that if they are in an underground train station again, it would be perfectly ordinary to see a 'Loop' on the train
ITS AN UNDERGROUND RAIL SYSTEM
*breathes*
Let me ask you.. [all of you]
If it'd had been a cab he jumped in front of, that had 'Off Duty' highlighted above it in both movies.. would there be all this debate? No, coz thats dumb. It wouldn't be out of the ordinary. You're making this into something its not because you have never heard of the loop system before...
anyways, thats my $0.02
we all have our opinions.....

The trainman or whatever you want to call it smuggled programs out of the matrix who where supposed to be deleted and then reinserted them. He might have beeen doing his job ins matrix 1, maybe smuggling a program out of the matrix to the mobil avenue stop. Remember he works for the Merovingian and this is his job, he does this to either make deals or make programs who where supposed to be deleted work for him.

thanx for clearing that up mcq3000, it makes perfect sence and did have a purpose
Actually, the loop thing with Neo in Revolutions is for comic relief. It was put in the original for cameo reasons. There is a LOOP train in Chicago, which is where the brothers are from (actually I am not 100% that they are specifically from Chicago, but close enough to claim it...so it is personal reasons.)

wtf, ofcourse they ar enot alike, the one in Matrix 1 was not Limbo AVe, they wher enot in Limbo in Matrix 1, they wher ein the Matrix duh. Mobil Avenue is like a temporary safehaven from deletion, then to be deleted programs are taken from Mobil Avenue and reinsterted back into the Matrix from Limbo Avenue. Kind alike a temporary storage space on a computer. The train Station ins Matrix 1 was just any train station. They use the Subway system as pathways for re-insertion and temporary storage of to be deleted programs.
It really isn't that hard people. And we all know different real world locales have Loop train systems, but that has no point in explaining the purpose of the Train and Trainman in the Matrix revolutions.
