Did anyone put any thoughts into the fact that "The Matrix: Online" has mentioned that players do not play as "The One" but will interact with Him?
I am one of those people who believe that Neo, is not alive, nor dead, he is in a Status between the worlds, again, because he serves as a balence point between the worlds.
When Sati asks the Oracle if they will see Neo again, she tells Sati that they might some day.
The "some day" is a reason to believe that Neo is just awaiting to come back and save humanity again if the Matrix gets out of scale again.
Thoughts?
Where did you read that they would interact with THE ONE, and are you sure they're referring to Neo and not the new ONE.
So far, I'm a firm believer that Neo's mind cannot die. I was thinking that perhaps Smith and Neo combining at the end didn't really cancel them out (balance the equation), but now they may be one in spirit beyond the grave, or just between worlds. Interesting thought, don't know if that's how it is. I just see his mind still going, even without his body. I believe...
I don't think neo is dead for one reason.
When the robot platter looking thing is carring neo's body away, first they show it from the back as it is carrying him away. Then they show neo's body laying on the platter, then they show it carrying him off again from teh back, but this time through neo vision. Neo vision being the way he sees with his eyes now burned. Why would they show it through his vision, plus they never show that he stops breathing or heart stops beating like they always do when someone is plugged in on the human ship. Also his eyes are bandaged and u can't see if they are open or not. I think the purposfully did that so if they want to they can always bring him back for another movie or anime.

I think that neo is dead. i hate to say that but thats just what i think
whos body was laying in the crater at the very end of the movie when all the smiths died?
