Yes you have to pay a monthly subscription fee. They haven't told us how much it is going to be, and usually don't untill about a month before it comes out. it will probably be between $10-$20 like most games like that are.

Its just that i aint played a game like that before, i aint realy a pc game fan. I find it hard to use the buttons, now on a PS2 i feel more in control because the buttons are easier to get to.

I have read the website for the game but i dont quite understand, are we all going to be in the game at the same time. And do we choose sides, i saw a post and roughly read it, it said something about there being 2 different sides

I have a grand idea for you MC....go to your local computer gaming shop and...OMG....pick up a PC game controller....that might help you out

not trying to be rude mate...just being helpful if you ever need it.

A controller will usually be useless for any MMORPG anyway. They have far to many key controls to fit on a control pad, also youll be using the keyboard to chat with. Its not that hard to figure out the controls anyway :) But it will definately be keyboard and mouse.

And yes Its one world wheere thousands of players log into. We dont have individual games or anything. Just "The" matrix.

Any game that is PTP sucks. Even if it is Matrix.

I think it's easier to use a keyboard and mouse, I tried playing shooter games and stuff on my PS2 it just isn't working.. so anyways I am just waiting for The Matrix Online..

Yea, a controller for a MMORPG game would be pretty much pointless seeing how you use about half the keys on the keyboard.

And MC, you should start checking out some PC games. I think PS2 tends to get boring way too quick.

Yeah i am gonna start getting more PC games, matrix online is going to be one of them. No one understands what i mean about controlling a keyboard and controlling a ps2 controller. Let me try and explain. Say if you press 'X' on the keyboard to kick someone, it wouldn't be as good if you pressed X on a PS2 controll. On a ps2 controll it is more comfortable. I think there should only be pc games when you have to click where the person has to go, you know those games that have really good graphics and you have to be a good thinker. Well this is only my opinion, everyone thinks different.

Anyway, i think this game is going to be complecated, but its going to be really good. So do you think if i was playing my game and someone else was playing it, we would be able to meet each other or something?

Of course, its an MMORPG. You dont create your individual games, you just "Log in" (or "Jack in" : ) to the server, where there will be thousands of other playing in that same world. There will probably be several servers for different locations (at least i hope so) but each server will have several thousand players on.

Its online only, theres no single player and you have to "Pay 2 Play"

I wonder how the shooting business will go? will it stay 3rd person view or will it then change to 1st person view? I wonder if TMO will start to make clans, guilds etc. w/e u call them it would be pretty interesting.. Anyways I was just asking cause I play shooter games on my comp (they apparently are the only type of PC games I have, lol) but I'm getting bored of them cause they are all the same.. and my comp can't run Battlefield 1942 properly, I wonder how bad it will run on my PC, it would be a disaster!! I have to do sumthing about that...

There will be two sides: Rebels and Zionist, Zionist want the matrix to end, the rebels want the matrix to remain in existence. There will be agents, but they are too hard for a beginner...

Anyway, I think this will be one of these games were all of the newbies will go with one expierenced member just so they won't get killed all the time.. Totally ruining the Matrix-feeling. Cuz let's be honest, it's not supposed to be a deathmatch....

Yeah i still am gonna get if it is is high, well not too high but you know what i mean. The game is probably going to be so good it should be worth the money. This game better be good, i can imagine getting it then all of a sudden it is a load of crap and i have been getting my hopes up to high

I sure hope there will be a 30-day trial. I just don't hope the first chapter (each month a different chapter) will be a trial, so when I buy the game later on (I'm gonna wait and see) I'll still get a month of "free" fun.

I'm hoping for the 30-day trial too, but I highly doubt they'll be doing it right away. That's what games tend to do if no one buys them. I doubt that'll be the case with MO.

There will be a 30 day trial, there always is with mmorpg's. You will still pay for the actual game though.

I know, btw Terikan do you know whether a singleplayer "module" wil be avaible.. For people (like me) with little interest in playing online?
