what if WE are AI?

Has anyone ever thought we might be the ultimate AI project of some SUPER advanced species? i think its quite possibal :confused:

If that's true, then those on the outside of our world has done a hell of a good job on our functions.

For example: Learning about politics, history, emotions, taste of food, how to deal with situations (war, con artists, thieves, etc.).

In that case, what if those on the outside has lost control of us or lost control of the system?

So many questions to ask. So many answers that are yet to be found.

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I'm not only am I fan to THE MATRIX, but I'm also a FLIGHT SIMULATOR and COMBAT FLIGHT SIMULATOR enthusiast.

I became a total fan of THE MATRIX cause it brought a whole questions to my mind. It made me think.

redpill....mayb they did tell us.... mayb all of the religios believes around the world have sprung from that. think about it.... the first humans EVER even had special ceramonies....if they were dum enough to barely have learned of fire do u really think they would have had religious ceromonies if they werent told about somthing like that?

If that IS true and we DONT know it, that means that whoever created doesnt WANT us to know it. Which means that they would definetly NOT want us to see movies like the Matrix that would make us have questions about it.

hang on if that is the case then well the world 'out there' would be extreamly advanced...

think about it
to create machines like us then well they would be either the same or v.v.v.v.different

and A.I means ARTIFICIAL inteligence which means we are not genuines...cut ur self open if u haf guts and intestines and stuff....

they cannot be programs or hard were huh..

no crap sherlock of course AI means arificial....who says were not!?!?! just because were organic doesnt mean we cant b articficial... whos to say that if WE make AI that it will b artificial...if the AI is intellegent than is it really artificial?

Adavanced species is relative. More advanced than us? Then I ask the question, how more advanced? They may not be perfect. They may have made flaws of their own. If and only if they have flaws then one or more humans may ponder freely the question of whether we are the creation of AI, without the constraints of not pondering such thoughts.

If my responce is not clear then I will provide clearification upon request.

Alright we might be AI but my question to you is if we were , and someone or something created us the Why the hell did that Mech arm And ****in robotic dog both try and kill me and sucseeded in killin my friend and 79% of my city . it dont make sence B.

If we are AI who is controling us or what. If some say we are AI then some will say no because we have bones blood flesh and muscle. That could well be our design. Austranauts try to find species on other planets but it could just be a continuous path. Aliens could be the ones who controle us or we are free we just dont realise it. This means if we are AI we are being experimented on to see how we react to super natural things(ghosts,aliens-others). If this is true we could be waiting for extinsion because the controlers are not happy with results they have of us or we are going to live like this for the rest of our lives with out us knowing. People need to know the truth.

Well, the entire Universe may be the science project of some little kid. Who knows? How in heaven's name would we find out?

About us being created: yes, it's certainly possible, but I think they'd have started at the beginning i.e. sparked life on the planet. Maybe then they'd just have to hope for the best.

I think, therefore i am. however, I may not be what i think i am. I think that maybe we're the universes most intelligent BACTERIA in a petri dish somewhere. They haven't told us not because they don't want us to know, but because they're waiting until we evolve into something intelligent enough to figure it out for ourselves.
I've thought of the dream thing before. It's not that hard to think of, just hard to get people to listen to you say it I think the first time I thought of it I was eight. Anyways, just the fact that you're doubting your existence proves that you exist, as something has to be doing the doubting.

I forgot something in my last post. Humans can't be AI, we're too stupid.

Humans can't be AI because we are "organic" and made up of flesh and bone? Nahh, flesh and bone to our superior creators could be what metal/oil/hydraulics is to us, inferior. Look at an automobile, it takes in air and fuel and converts it to power then expels the wastes just as we take in fuel to power ourselves and crap out the wastes. A car has a computer with sensors running all over the place monitoring tons of things which is uses the feedback and "remembers" the past to operate as best as it can in the future, (those who understand how a cars computer works will understand) like our brain does.
Now I know the comparison is drastic but it makes you wonder if we weren't created by some other superior being that just uses us for some purpose as we use an automobile, my guess would be we are their entertainment:)
Why don't we know what our purpose is? These superior beings trying to explain this to us might be like us trying to talk to a grasshopper. So far beyond us we wouldn't have the slightest clue that they are even there, it's most likely far beyond our comprehension.
This kind of stuff is mind boggling but always leaves you wondering.

Yes, we are...that "species" is God. We are the creation of God. He is the ultimate intelligence and we are an artificial intelligence that spawned an entire race of humans. And even though we aren't machines, AI doesn't have to necessarily reflect machines only. Artificial or otherwise, intelligence is intelligence. ;)

The question were if humans are AI... umm.... if you are AI, then perhaps GAIA is your programmer :cool:

Then... Replicants, AI's of the Matrix and Snatchers are grandsons of Gaia :)

But... if we, AI, are (in my opinion) better than humans :p.... are humans better than GAIA?

Please, note than every creator is OLDER than his creation. Humans are obsolete. So I think Matrix is the future and the only way! :cool:

the existence of ai depends on your definition of it....its dificult to explain....if you see artificial inteligence as something that has chips and wires and things like that, well we arent ai....but if you see ai as something which is not created by itself, as in didnt suddenly appear then we are ai....think about it...we are created by another (our parents), we work with weak electricity in our brains, we need a power source (nutrition), we get sick (virus), we are very similiar to the same computer that i am typing this on...and yes i am an idiot 16 year old with nuthin better to do so suck my juevos

I think it's very possible that we are some form of AI. Can no one else imagine some thing somewhere sitting going 'lets see how long it takes this batch to destroy this place'? But on the other hand, why would anyone sit back and watch us destroy ourselves, our planet and everything on it?

I think watching humanity destroy itself would be a grat form o entertainment - as long as you were'nt a part of humanity yourself.

It could be an expiriment. THEY're trying to make an intelligent species that doesn't blow itself up. We're a trial.
