Why was zion not destroyed and repopulated?

Why did neo not have to pick 4 men and 7 women to repopulate zion after he had reloaded the matrix. The architect told him that this was the one's purpose after returning to the source, which I assume is what neo did at the end of Revolutions. IDK just a thought.

well neo chose the other door...you see the problem is choice...bcuz he didnt choose to go to the source door in reloaded and instead chose to save trinity through the other door wahtever the architect said about the source is completely nullified...all of the other "Ones" before him chose the source door (or mayb there wasnt a choice or something we dont know...bcuz it is siad that neo is different becasuse of love) and so that was their purpose..the entire basis of revolutions was that he chose the love door and therefore had to do all of the crap himself and saved zion..no point in restarting a city that isnt dead...lol

The matrix i see as a game between the architect and the oracle if neo had gone through the other door leading to the source in reloaded then the architect would have won and the game would have been reset, started agian by neo picking the men and women to re-build zion only for it to be destroyed again the next time round. But, neo chose the other door which meant that the oracle still had a chance of winning, u c the architects job is to balance the equation, the oracles to un-balance it, in revolutions when smith was destroyed one side of the equal equation was lost so the other side coudlnt exist which is why neo died, WITHOUT RETURNING TO THE SOURCE, so zion wasnt destroyed and the game wasn't reset because the oracle won. in time the peace between the machines and humans will probably collapse and the game will again restart, so the oracle in theory has won in delaying the architect from playing the game for a time.

He Let Smith takes over him becoz he understand that there is no way he can beat Smith in a "kung fu fight". The only way smith can be destroyed is by COMPLETING the 'circle'..ie..Neo is the (+),...Smith is the (-).....he saw light at the end of the movie remember!!!!!!

soz, jus have 2 bring dis up,
if u have 2 sides of an equation e.g
positive + negative
good + evil
1 + -1

if smith (negative,evil,-1) merges with neo (positive,good,1)
don't they cancel each other out,

in mathematics doesnt 1+ -1 = 0 , so wouldnt smith + neo = nothing

any thoughts

Despite all this hocus pocus of ye calculation and Einstein equation (duh!).... you forgetting one important thing ol' chap..... lemme put it in calculation style....:

Smith ( = Negative + Bad guy + REGENADE PROGRAM ) whereas :
Neo ( = Positive +Good guy + HUMAN + pychic powers)

...Now that should make you see thing clearly... ol'chap!!! :)

He can definitely answer some questions that are of debate on this site. And I could've answered your questions on the Architect.....lol, or u can read the 1.0 and 2.0 explanations of Matrix.

I Think you're lost there....didn't you see the part where Smith replicated him self into Bane? (duh!!).....sooon after that after Bane has been transformed into smith he was able to 'exit ' himself via "THE PHONE" from the Matrix because he is carrying Bane 'signatures'. HE look like Bane in the real world but his mind is Smith internally (duh!!!)...if my words is makin' you dizzy then you better watch Revo again. Concentrate on the part where Bane tried to escape from Smith and from there on.....................

Soz Superman, Ian lives in Australia the other actors only go for filming i'm very doubtful whether i could arrange ne fink, i hope ur not 2 dissapointed.

Bane cuts himself because before smith gets into the real world he has no real senses, when he has taken over bane and returned to the real world he is overwhelmed by all the human senses and i think is cutting himself to try out his sense of pain and feeling. That's wat i got told by Ian ne way!

I'll need 2 get back 2 u on the 'powers in the real world thing' shoodn't b too long, mayb a couple of days!

Hey Supaman, if u wanna know why he was cuttin his hand in more detail than my crappy explanation and in the words of 'Bane himself then here u go: -

'Yes, it is Bane who gets 'possessed' by Smith. After Bane and Ghost have been in to The Matrix to see The Oracle they crash through the skylight. After Ghost has made it back in to the real world, Bane is about to be transported when Smith arrives, and takes over his body. Bane no longer exists other than as a shell. Smith is now using his body and enters the real world.
Up until he takes over Bane, Smith has only experienced 'life' as a computer program. Now he is inside a real body he is overloaded by the senses and is finding it hard to adjust to the nerves, all those things a real possess which he didn't. This is kinda the reason he cuts his hand - to experience the sense of feeling, to bring about his senses. A little severe but then again Smith is hardly a sane type of guy!'

I knew that already......it was just a dropback of some other things that are unexplained.......so I'm not confused at all there.

Its more Neo's abilities in the "real" world, which also have been explained nicely by Terikan's explanation of "bio-electricity" (man....I have given this guy so much credit......lol).

And there are speculations of MWAM (matrix with in a matrix).
Although all the evidence/examples are pointing otherwise, I'm still holding on to that theory! (Makes great discussions :) )

So ..me not confused! lol.

I'm pretty sure this is out of topic but can't start anywhere. Did any of you guy's notice the glitch in Revo. It's kind of weird but i thought i saw Neo eyes was wide open. I Kindda' saw this part right after Neo-Smith fight...the part where the machine dragged Neo. The camera (sort of i guess) hover above Neo 4 about few seconds and thats where (i thought..?!) i saw for a moment there Neo eyes was wide open. Maybe i'm wrong about this...just thought you guys could correct me .....

I'm not entirely sure, but i think i might remember seeing something like that, if it's that bit where the camera's looking down and that light is shining out of his eyes and his mouth, i dunno,could have just been tired!? could have been a slip on the SFX front, who knows! ne way i'm sure you'll find out soon,
