I didn't know if this should go in the Reloaded section, but it also applies to Revolutions. After Neo unplugs from the matrix after his fight with Smith in Reloaded, he says he didn't know what Smith was doing to him "but it felt like being in that hall, it felt like dying." I think that is interesting because Neo eventually dies by the same method in Revolutions, and it clicked in my head that maybe his comment in Reloaded was foreshadowing of what was to come in Revolutions. I know it is arbitrary, but we don't have much else to discuss except arbitrary topics. Also, although I am written as a noob, I have been interacting in this forum since June, so don't ignore my post because the moderators say I'm a noob, it is just that I only post when I have something important to say.
nice, i like that. good point. i especially like it cause it sounds like something the w. bros would do, and i do believe that at least his body did die at the end of m3. very good observation.

Also just to point out something..
You know that metallic liquidy substance that seems to engulf whoever is being infected by Smith.. well we also see that too in M1 just as Neo is about to be released from the matrix for the first time! Remember that scene? when he's sitting in the chair just as they're running the trace program and he touches the metallic liquidy thing on his right side and then it starts to engulf him? I've always thought that scene was pointless but now I'm having second thoughts.. maybe there's a connection... i just don't know what! Any ideas?
Great observation. I am glad to see that there really are scenes of foreshadowing in the previous Matrix movies. Great point. I too never understood that scene, yet you might have shed some light on it.
That was a mirror, and I don't think it was trying to take over the world.
and that would give even more credit to the line "it felt like dying" because if you remeber, they were trying hard to locate his pod in m1 and if the metallic stuff had engulfed him totally before they found it then he would've died

Apoc: Lock, I've got him.
Morpheus: Now, Tank. Now.
