Trinity And Neo SEX SCENE!!!

you know... in the sex scene with Trin and Neo, they could have shown more than what they showed on Trin, i mean come on!!! if they are going to show that, at least show something good!!!!

I think they may have just shown the sex scene for these reasons:

a) To get more people interested in the movie - proves its not just action, its romance too.

b) To show the love between Neo + Trin

c) For grounds of what COULD happen in the third movie ie. Trin becoming pregnant. (I don't know I haven't seen it yet - goin tomorrow!!!!!)

But I think they made it perfectly clear what was goin on and they didn't need anymore nudity. I think it was tastfully done.

But you DID see Neo's bum so I left happy. :)

I think the love scene really fit in, I mean Neo and Trinity did love eachother. If they had shown any nudity, then it would have made Reloaded porno....

Everyone is missing the obvious point of that scene......yes it is to show how much love Neo and Trinity have for each other.....but that scene has more of a religious significance than anything else......they make love under an arc.....arcs are mad religious in the bible.....the arc of the covenant

I am a pervert, and yet I wanted the love scene out! I don't care about the arc, they could have just made them kiss under one! anyway, I thought the whole raveparty was bull too. I think it was a timefiller.

I didnt think the nude scene was so great and I dont think Trinity is so hot.But if the Wack Bros. wanted to put that scene in.They could've put it in the deleted scenes on the DVD.That would make people that didnt like that scene feel better about watching the movie.

he sex scene was completely useless and pointless... we already knew that they loved very much each other, we didn't need any sex scene to prove us how deep their love was.

I think that the sex scene was cool, they showed enough. But it also showed that they had been so busy that they hadnt had time to get it on.

the sex scene was pretty goofy. at the theater when i saw it everyone laughed, including me. it just didn't seem right, and the way it was running parallel to everyone dirty dancing in the cavern after Morpheus' speech, along with the dance music...very corny.

i think they could have just shown a quick scene of them in bed or something, without all the passionate facial expressions and everyone dancing.

but hey, if they are going to include a scene like that, they could have at least gone in a little closer when Keanu's bum was on view...hehehe. may have made the rest of the corny stuff worthwhile.

it was an okay scene....though i think that the fact that all the people in the Temple were ranging form the ages of 18 to 25....not many old people those days seem to dance.

mabey carey-ann moss didn't whant here boobs to be in the film. (lol she is going to have a baby soon yeah know)

The love scene was there for the sole purpose of establishing intimacy between Trinity and Neo. Carrie-Anne Moss had stated in an interview that she didn't want to show alot of nudity, ie; body parts. So they did it in as tasteful a manner as possible. But I do agree that it should have somehow been different. I don't think it should have been during the back drop of the dance scene, regardless of the symbolism. I do agree on the whole "arch" theory though. The whole "arch of the covenent" type of thing, very cool. The ending of the whole scene was great though, the way they were just sort of wrapped around eachother..............

I am surprised how certain individuals get caught up in the "how much do they show" aspect of the scene. The whole sequence was designed to illustrate the celebration of humanity. It is important to remember what the humans are fighting for. Survival is not enough of a reason to fight a war. We fight for love. We fight for our freedom. We fight for our passions. I'm glad it was young people dancing because they were the future of the human race. It wouldn't be too encouraging if a hundred thousand senior citizens of Zion celebrated humanity "buffet-style".

It is disconcerting to see so many superficial comments and reflections about this part of the film. Yet, I understand if one simply doesn't like it, but don't undermine its significance to the story.

just to let you know... if they are going to show something like that, just show it all... this is going to sound weird, but show Neo too, my god... whats all the fuss about my thread. it was just a thought...

They showed exactly what they needed to show, for exactly the right amount of time they showed it. They could not have shown more or less, or shot the scene in any other way, it was the way it was supposed to be.

But, on the real, it was some way of caving in to Hollywood's standards, it is what we want to see, and in some cases we wanted to see more because we are so into sex scenes. It probably would have been a better movie without it because it made absolutely no sense to show it. There are many other ways they could have shown the love they have for each other, just my opinion.

The scence it self whas good, but they coud of shown some more at least carrie anne-moss boobs (mabey the should of paid here some more for that) or some other body parts instead of neo back all the time.

It is supposed to be about them defeatin the matrix, and findin the father of it, and to defeat the machinesre goin to intruding in Zion. I agree with him on this part. I am a nuetral person, and as such, I hate seeing people fight, so here is an option. Delete the thread. There seem to be a lot of people who dont want to see the scene turn into a porno, I dont either, but I know that it was in the movie for a reason, and whether we want to change it or not, well too bad, we cant, it will stay there. See, no freedom-of-speech thingy either. Delete the thread, it will solve everyones problems. Then we can all go sentinel hunting in our APU's. j/k

I seem to remember a thread that was about how the W Bros believed that sex=death or something like that. Because while Neo and Trin are going at it, he has a vision of her death.

Also, the drill that is digging toward zion and the hundreds of thousands of sperm-like squiddies, what does that remind you of? Their plan is to kill everybody in zion.
