Matrix brains help me!

Don't get me wrong, i love the matrix, and i wouldn't exactly say i was stupid or whatever but i do need your help one-and-all for 2 things:

1) could someone please explain to me IN MUCH SIMPLER TERMS what it was that the archetct was saying exactly cos by the time i was trying to figure out what one long word meant, along came another one.

2) could someone tell me, or outline the story of what happened in all the film bits in the 'enter the matrix' game as i'm no good at fighting games and wouldn't get very far even if i did have an x-box.

i would be greatful if you could keep it spoilerless about what happens in revolutions as i won't get to see it until sunday.

1) Architech tell Neo he's the 6th version of The One (there were 5 Ones before Neo). To this Neo responds:

And then...

The Architect - Precisely. As you are undoubtedly gathering, the anomaly's systemic, creating fluctuations in even the most simplistic equations.

Now, for all this the matrix create a form of control (The Oracle). This will help machines control the anomaly (Neo).

Do you follow me?, all right, the hole thing is about Zion, Neo went to The Architech room because Zion is about to be destroyed. For this Archi explain Neo that the function of the One is to return to the source, allowing a temporary dissemination of the code Neo carry.

After Neo Entering the source he will have to chose 23 individuals, 16 female, 7 male, to rebuild Zion.

At this point The Architech give Neo two choices, save Trinity or everybody plugged in The Matrix (enter to the source).

He choose save Trinity.

2) Explain The Oracle change and some other stuff.
