if there is a God would he want to control us? or would he leave us alone and let us be. there is a greater power controlling us. it's called the government :D and they are watching.

how do we know god is real? how do we know he is the all knowing person churches make him out to be? are we sure he isn't just the archetect? all the bible stories talk about him creating everything, so maybe he is. my point is we don't know. some of us will never know. when some of us find out, maybe we will silenced. maybe they have already started. think about all those people going away for a while, then coming back. how do you know that all of them just go on holiday. maybe they get unplugged. this maybe be a test, to see the people who can be unplugged. maybe thats why they need to find out where we are from. until someone tells us, we don't know the answer to the questions. god maybe real, he maybe not, but there is always something wrong, however he doesn't stop it. think about what i said, then decide, are you red or blue on this?

There is a definite force at work, I don't know if we are in the image of it or not, but there is a force. Think gravity, physics, things operating a certain way. We cannot change it, maybe someone who can levitate or bend spoons with thier mind can, but I can't.

How do we know God is real? We don't. We cant. I BELIEVE he is real, but there is no possible way for me to know for sure at this time.

Logic must overwhelm you to think the movies are a test. Pardon me if that seems mean or insulting to you, but there's no nice way to put it. I could write you an essay about why it doesn't make much sense for the movies to be true, but you'd probably just say "how do u kno", so I won't bother.

yes, i think there is a power that controls us, and it isnt government. I think it is called Need. For instance, if a woman needed money so badly, she would think she would NEED to rob a bank or some other illegal action. A cannibal eats its own race, so it NEEDS to eat humans. There are so many needs, in economy, government and everywhere u can think of

maybe god onced ruled over us, just like the machine world ruled over everyone in and out of the matrix, but maybe the government is just like agent smith. god created the government and the people in it, and now it has spread so quickly and become so powerful that even god has no control. and it is fair enough to say that like smith, the government is a virus.

Think that the power that controls us is everywhere in our daily lives: government, media, society. We think we all need stuff, (I agree with takethepillnow) which really sucks. Wanna see some free ppl: check the Discovery Channel, they live in some bush or way out in the arctic.

Government may control feable minds... They may set rules, laws and regulations... some of these are for civiled society to exist others are for mass control... You figure out which is which when you think about it.... think about the construct of political freedom for instance... we will fight for it and support it all over the world not knowing that political freedom is not the true freedom at all...

Government stands no chance when it comes down to the individual who uses their mind...

As far as the rest of the world goes... well a higher being exists and He is not absent from anything... He knows what is going on and what will happen... And No matter how much most of us fight and pretend that we make our own destiny, i wonder how much we really do... How could things in our lives truly opperate without it... God is real and He will make Himself known one day...

The construct of our matirx will one day fall and the whole world will know the truth..

Of course, it depends on what your view of freedom is. If it's having no moral limitations, then I suppose you can have that at any time.

Governments will always try to tell you what to do and what not to do. Many are based on the basic limitations that God laid down thousands of years ago (aka Ten Commandments).

Sorry, I'm digressing. Anyway, I believe strongly in God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Christ Jesus. He reigns over us and uses us to achieve his final plan (which I really have no clue over, except it's to put Satan in his place). I think he doesn't exactly control our every move, but instead knows our moves and guides them so they also effect other people's moves to achieve the greater goal. We were made with free choice, and are generally happy. As the oracle pointed out, humans thrive under choice, but don't always do what will cause construction, rather than destruction.

The idea isn't that one left brain represents God but all of them, within the whole of Mankind.

That post was originally a reply to me in which I explained her own words so she would be an atheist.

The theories presented on that site can be twisted in such a manner that anyone could be god.. It's just a real big load of crap. And it's a shame: The spelling and grammar of that person is pretty good. Imagine what he could be doing with his time!
