Smith Cloned? How many?

Does anyone know exactly how many Smith's Smith makes of himself?

I think every person in the whole matrix exept Neo becomes a smith. I heard trinity, Morpheus, and the oracle become smiths.

i know for a fact that Trinity and Morpheus DON'T become Smith's.
