Morons. The Animatrix is a collection of nine animated short films having to do with the MAtrix. It is coming out on DVD and VHS on June 3rd.

The 9 animatrix episodes are cool. Although some are better than others. My favorites are second renaissance, final flight of the osiris and kid's story because they all tie in nicely with the actual movies. The others just use the universe of the matrix and take it from there. Very good animation work though, some of these studios are hella cool ;)

U can even now download them, I agree all 9 great.

Oh for ur information, u know on 2 of the animatrix Carrie-Ann Moss did the voice The Kid n The Detective, n also Keanu Reeves did the voice of himself in The Kid.

Crahan, what about Detective Story? In my opinion it ties up to the main story too, as discover more of Trinity's past in this one, but otherwise I agree with you. In World Record I feel sorry for the guy though when he can't walk anymore.... :(

The Final Flight of The Osiris is great due to the CGI animation used in it, it reminds me of Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within... ^_^

An how many unwanted prgrams/extra costs did you get on the way, because i downloaded that program and stopped using it when isaw the text: "3.50e / min."...
Isn't there any other place where I can get the Animatrix al 9 episodes?

I know Kazaa says it charges-- but just click past that (don't enter a credit card # or anything). That is just there for legal reasons, but it is not enforced.

But it doesn't ask for credit card # or anything, you're requested to call to one of those numbers that has extra costs in it (phonesex services and such) to get access to the site... :(

What's the rating on the Animatrix? (As in, is it rated 'R', 'PG-13', etc.)

I'd say R. There are some scenes that are pretty brutal

i think the antamatrix is alright, it was a little hard to under stand it, but i got a few of them.

Are the animatrix mini movies any good? I hear they're pretty gruesome (yes I know I can't spell!:D ) hmmmmmmm.....

some of them are hard to understand but modt of them are out of the reloaded.

i'd say they are

better then anything I have ever seen

most of them are good, the first ones i really didnt get.

The first ones is about the history, how we got into that situation. It is just a review.

In my opinion the first ones are the best out of the whole lot.

i like the ending ones the kids story and all those ones i uderstand.

Animatrix is great, u should get it. It's one video, with 9 episodes. U'll understand the Matrix more, or have more questions that need answer, lol. Animatrix is great, I just had to say that again, lol.
