On a serious note though. I'd prefer you to say, "May take 30 Hours" rather than the impossible deadline you set for yourselves. I left six hour gaps between revisiting this site and each time it said that there were another three hours to go...

This pissed me off too but I noticed that after a couple of hours it said to wait 12-24 hours. I was pretty optimistic because I figured they were going to change the layout to the baby-in-pod one we chose, but whatever, this one's better than the last one anyway...

I am using "Google toolbar" and there is a perfect pop-up blocker in it... Download it from google.com

I also have this function on my browser so it isn't that annoying anymore but it sucks though...

I want to make it clear to everyone that this board is a non-commercial project and it cost pretty much time and money to support this board. Those banners don't make anywhere near what this board cost to run. So, have fun and don't think anyone is making any money here.
It is true that not every board changes servers every other month because not many people care of how fast and convinient the board is and since most of boards are commercial they don't favour expenses (better hosting costs more money).
But we are here woking on improvments every day, all day.
Since I bought the board:
- games were added
- new, unique custom design replaced a template
- we've changed 2 hosting compaies and now arrived to one of the best hosting company around - rackspace.com and are paying around $10 000/year for hosting. (Did you notice the changes in speed?).
- categories were fixed to make the board Matrix related and not only 'Matrix Reloaded' oriented.
- MatrixRevolutions.com was purchased along with a bunch of other domains.

I participate in other commercial and non-commercial boards, and going to open 2 more of my own boards soon and I don't see there are many boards who care so much.

Yakov, that's great. A while ago I heard that it cost $10,000 a month for a site I was visiting. Yours is less than $1000 per month, so that makes it easier to afford. Although I don't know how you can afford to run it... Anyway we really appreciate it. It's like a virtual home to some of us. It's too bad when people take up space with absurd threads that don't have anything to do with the Matrix at all (anywhere besides the Lounge under General Discussions), but I'm glad that it was down around this week, luckily I kept busy getting ready for Halloween. Now I will be able to come here after all the fuss is over (post Halloween). Thanks again! :)
