HomoUniversalis Nanotechnology, means VERY tiny technology, so basicly we are already developing Nano-Technology. And we are already able to alter DNA/RNA, so you can basicly say we are ably of nanotechnology... Alfredo The Nanotech that we're talking about means microbe-likje paricles that can replicate themselves and move together. The plan at the moment is to get them to behave like insects. Are we talking room-sized "brains" or Nano technology? depends on what the AI is for most likely they will use both, and the nana AI's can only be so small before they become obsolete and are not as efficent unless quantum computers come out which run on the basis of spining electrodes which means that the "nano" computers could be very close to microscopic, these "room sized" brains wil be in control of such things as the systems in a high rise or future spaceships/satelites or they might be used as digital "maids" like in that old movie smart house View Full Version : How Big? |
