how long will the matrix last?

like most of us here, i'm a diehard fan of the trilogy. but i just wondered what will happen to this mania of ours some time after the release of The Matrix Revolutions? how long will it last? i hate to think that our hysteria will fade away eventually; but unfortunately...

I started watching M1 sometime in the year 2000 and I haven't stopped since then. If Revolutions is as good as it looks, we might be in for the same. You never really get sick of true classics :)

that's what i wanted to hear guys! i just wanted to be sure i wasn't the only one who'll be dragging the line for much time after the release of the last episode.

can't wait till Revolutions gets out! when Reloaded came out, i watched M1 just before going to the theatre. this time, i'm gonna watch M1 + M2 before watching M3! that's gonna be kicking gr8!!!!!!!!!

i bet that Revolutions will be the best movie ever and become a classic even in non-fan's eyes! the things i saw in the previews i can belive they are cramming it in to less than 2 hours! (realeseing in Imax) (only holds For 125 min)

I dont think ill ever lose interest in it, i just think that this board were it to stay the same as it is now would get boring.

But since were upgrading it will still be fun

no they said there changing it to cover all of the matrix movies

i heard there was an interview with Keanu reeves and he dosent want to do another film after Revolutions.

Another Film, will he not do anymore MOVIES or matrix movies

i know for sure that keanu's not gonna do anymore matrix movies. i read an article in which he wanted it all to end.

and i don't think the Wachowski Bros are gonna do any more sequels either. it would be pushing things a bit too far. but i do think they will make or produce parallel movies (like animatrix) Come to think of it, i'm also working on a story which is parallel o the Matrix. its not a lame imitation. its just in relation to the storyline of the matrix. its a bit like the "Kid's Story" in Animatrix

I just hope to god that the matrix doesnt become a star wars style of neverending sequels!
