bug in the matrix ?

still puzzled by the first movie

at the moment that Neo is still living his "virtual life" (being the real life) he is still in the cocoon delivering energy. It is a lot easier for the agents to get rid of him at that moment in time instead of just disposing of him
So why just not killing him there instead of disconnecting him from the energy supply lines ?

Cuz if they did that, then there would be no movie. lol

They didn't know he was the One, so why would they assume someone would be there to scoop him up? I am sure they figured he would have died and that's it.

I think when the hardline to Neo's real body was cut (in other words, when he took the pill), his body gave off no life signs any longer, making the machines think he was dead. Then, his body is removed from the power supply and dumped into the pool below, which is where all the dead bodies are dropped and eventually liquified and fed to the living bodies. That's the way they learned to get people out of the Matrix -- make the Matrix think those people are dead so it disposes of them.

Any theories ppl on the "bug" laying on the other bed in a comma
