How longs Revolutions going to be?

Prophesy

Seems to me alot of things are going to happen n M3 - atleast it looks that way from the trailers. Does anybody got anyidea how long its spossed to be?
jimmerb83

I'm guessing just as long as reloaded. like joel silver said, reloaded and revolutions are just one big movie cut in half. so expect about a little over 2 hours. and im sure everything will be explained. think about it, you've learned so much from m1, and that wasnt even as long is reloaded. im sure they'll have no trouble explaining everything, or at least as much as they need too.
Neo is The One

I hope it's really, really long.
Vegitto

I wouldn't mind if it were over 4 hours long.
Jetfire

As long as its more action than talking. I fought the talking parts in Matrix Reloaded are boring. Vegitto, do you like Dragonball Z? Is this where you got your name from? User name, I mean.

No, the talking parts are way more interesting! :)
mercilesstruth

I think the first Matrix was 2 hours and 15 minutes and the Matrix Reloaded was 2 hours and 18 minutes. So expect it to be somewhere around those times.
TheSpectator

The Matrix is different from a standard Steven Seagal-action-movie, because of the philosophy and spritual messages. These parts of the movie(s) are way more interesting than the fight scenes - although the fight scenes are very good - because it gives the Matrix that special atmosphere, that special feeling.
Revolutions will be 9 quarters of nonstop action, philosophy and spiritualism. I can't wait.

That would be GREAT!!!!!!!

4 houres is very long, it would be great. But what about your bloodcirculation. It happened sometimes that people sat down in an airplane for over 4 houres and the bloodcirculation in their legs stopped, causing trombosis with death as consequence.
Around 2 houres is just fine with me, because we want to see the movie without health problems.
Neo is The One

But that's why you watch two hours of the movie, then have a intermission, everyone takes a break and goes to the restroom, stretches their legs and stuff, then the intermission ends and they come back to watch the last two hours. I would love it if Revolutions was four hours long!

even titanic and LOTR extended version wasn't THAT long plus i read that on theaters right now movies have a under 3 hr time limit so the longest it could be is 2hr 59min just like LOTR-FOTR lol i was staring at the dvd player at how long it was heh...like i said i'm a bored little girl.
Jetfire

Yes, but you can't put that onto a video tape/cassette or a single DVD. You'd need two DVD's for that. It would make it dearer and less would be made at that downfall. Or less will be bought.

actually you can put a hell of a lot more than four hours onto a dvd just think of this...deleted scenes, behind the scenes, finding a perfect ____ for the movie, interviews with the cast and crew... those are what are on typical dvds...lol don't underestimate dvds! you can do that to VHS though haha. living in the past like 1978...

actually you couldnt really put 4 hours onto a dvd. dvds have only so much space, and if you wanted to put four hours on it, you would have to make the encoding smaller, thus making the dvd have a crappier quality to it. that's why movies like 'gangs of new york' are on two dvds.

uh...then what happens to people like bed ridden patients in the hospital? or when you sleep?
smith_fan

2-3 hours are ok in my opinion. I'll see the triple premiere and it says that 1 & 2 & 3 will be about 8 hours long including 1 hour break.
jimmerb83

sweet, when's that gonna be n where?
smith_fan

Nov. 5th of course
jimmerb83

no silly, where will they be showing all 3 of them!
smith_fan

in nearly every cinema in Germany. What's so silly about that? M1 + M2 + M3

SWEET JESUS! and I thought they would only be doing that for Lord of the Rings...I don't know if I'm going to be able to watch it though cuz i got school! and the later i go the worse the audience is...the kind that has no consideration cuz they aren't true fans!!!

No I'm not calling that silly, i was calling YOU silly!
Terikan

jimmer, they only split movies onto more than one dvd for organizational purposes, you know, like one disc has special features, while one has the movie.
jimmerb83

what? i never said anything about that. i was simply saying you cannot put too MUCH information on a disc without sacraficing some quality.
Jetfire

And it all boils down to what I said..... You could put 4 hours on a DVD, no doubt, but that means leaving out the special features all together. I know how big a DVD is.
