Is it always the same dream?

The dream Neo dreamt about Trinity was part of the procedure of the One getting to the Architect. So that must have meant that the 'Ones' before Neo must have had a similar dream. What do you think? What other dreams could there have been?

I think they had the same dream, but they didn't fell love for their girls, so they choose the other door.

I think people get confused too much about this six version thingy. There were five ones before Neo, not five neos. We don't know whether the other dreams or not or even whether they had girlfriends (probably didn't, the arc said something about that). The dream was not part of the procedure for entering the source, in fact, it was a deterrent. The dream was what caused Neo to back out and return to the Matrix. This leads me to think that it is not the arc that is responsible for the dream. I think the Oracle had more to do with it - I believe she honestly wants to help the rebels, but I guess we'll see in Revolutions who's right.

It didn't all happen the same way though. It was like a pattern before. But Neo broke that pattern. The pattern was...

Someone becomes the One...

Agents try and defeat them...

Gets to a stage where a full fledged attack on Zion is forced by the machines...

The One chooses the door on the right etc...

But it was said that the attack on Zion now was is worse than the attacks before.. So Neo broke the pattern.

So therefore the Ones before Neo followed the pattern and had probabily never dreamt the dream/nightmare Neo was having...
