Notice the Architect TV Screen style on the shots of Smith - especially the shot of him walking.
Also, the guy in the blue suit getting showered with sparks... Could that be... um... Sparks (the character), the operator of the Logos?
Cool pix. Yes the Smith scene does look like it's from a monitor.
What really gets me is that blue jacket. It's so different than
anything worn outside the Matrix, yet it looks like he's standing
inside a ship with a breached ceiling.
Looks like whoever it is just got done defeating Sparks, or hasn't
fought him yet in the above pic.

Neo, now with a new outfit not found in Zion. This is getting
exciting :) The middle pic of the first posting is extremely odd. First, whoever this is, appears to be in a Christ-like pose. Second, I don't think the lights trickling down are sparks because they would burn this individual and he would not be standing under the sparks welcoming them. Third, this individual is wearing a blue jump suit, something we have not seen before in Zion (although this is the least of the oddities). Fourth, the individual is wearing a watch and a wedding ring. I have never seen anyone wearing a wedding ring in Zion (although this may have been overlooked), and it seems unlikely that people would wear watches in Zion.
Something about this pic just doesn't seem right. I have feeling M3 is going in a direction no one can anticipate. Wow those pics look amazing bamba. I can't what to see the new film. perhaps the pic with the man standing underneath the sparks is part of the movie's crew. After further evaluation, it definitely looks like the picture posted by Etaphase and the "spark" picture in the initial post, they are most definitely the same place, and perhaps the same person.
Look at the walls and the connectors coming out of it... and especially the sprawlin wires on the floor at the end of the hallway... its the same place in my opinion. The question is... what is that place?
Someone long ago who *seemed* to be a reliable source posted on another forum that the struggle picture (its been around for a while) was a fight between the Merovingian and Cypher in the Machine City 01 (ZeroOne). I know, it sounds outrageous, but I can't call it impossible.
I always imagined that picture had to be Neo fighting someone... but... having seen the sparks picture now... I don't know what to make of it.

If you read the magazine's headlines, it tells you they are doing a story on special effects. They always have a guy standing in with the special effects hes created, its tradition.
