Persephone & Merovingian

What's going on with those two?

Seemed that in M2 Merovingian managed to get her angry, and vice versa. I think they would have break up, but now I think that hasn't happened (because of some pics I have seen from M3).

I mean with those pics of that Merovingian's bizarre club. Seems that both of them are there, and I think that if Persophone would just leave, she probably wouldn't come to Merovingian's club.

Maybe she couldn't leave, because she wouldn't have any chance to go if M would want to stop her.

Also, does anyone know more about the club?
Why Merovingian goes there (is he a bit odd)? Where it is? Why Trinity and some others go there? :)

well yeah mero looks strange at gun point by trinity but later she is held at gun point by like 7 times more people working for the merovingian...i can't really say for sure what the relationship between persephone and the merovingian is cuz they didn't really communicate much in M2

Merovingian and Persephone are two programs, two rogue programs who no longer have purpose in The Matrix and therefore are free man, like Smith.
These two are programmed as a couple, but as in many relationships irritation and argueing happen a lot more. So between these two, they are a couple and couldn't break up, but Mero is cheating on her (totally unbelievable, such a beaty) and Persephone is getting even with him.
In m3 they still are a couple, but slowly Persephone will choose to cooperate with the humans against her husband.
The Merovingian is a powerful program and has many influence on people and programs. He is rich and ownes some real estate, a restaurant (m2) and obviously a dark metal kinky kind of club, known as Hell's club. Everybody has to relax some times not, M is holding Neo there and Trinity, Morpheus and Seraph are going there to save him.
