1st Day of School

Hey everyone today is my first day of school iam starting 10th (held back) I have alot of cool classes i wonder if anyone else is having there first day!

my school days start in 3 weeks. And I'm not happy about it:D

my first day of school started last week wesnday...i'm a softmore as well cept i wasnt held back...ugh hw!

held back? ouch. i'm headin to school the 28th. I've a little excited, but mostly thinking "Oh, gawd, here comes another year of mundane school work, switching classes, daydreaming, getting yelled at for daydreaming, classmate scandals... Ah, well. At least I'll have this place waiting for me! :D

school still dont start for ages yet for me!

I never new there was such a thing as school on a Sunday! I mean i know about the school during Saturday in China but school on Sunday is just plain wrong.

I don't start back at college untill the 22nd september. a nice 3 and a half months of holiday :D

I am in grd3. i cant wait for grd4. i am hom sick today and meybee longer. i try and play games when im sick, but mum also makes me do home works to. yuk. but i love reading books, and they trid to keep me back for gr3 agan. but mumy helped me with home projects al about tornados. they ar my fav. now i can go tp gr4. thanks mum

what i really shoulda said is that its just scary starting at a new place, new ppl, new work, same crap :P

Yeah, it does. The Marinse hace a good policy for dealing with that tho. When somebody new checks into the command, and the other Marines who work in the same section take the NUG and buy all the drinks. Its a good way to get to know everybody and break the ice so to speak. Of course, at 0500 the next morning the NUG gets to go run 5 miles....but I dont think u will have that problem.

damn thats a good way to do it man, i wish they did that with me, but minus the five mile run tho lol

i dunno wether it's a new school or college you're starting Ima, but if it's a college or sixth-form then there's usually a week or two orentation/induction for people to settle. ya shouldn't have any problem

ugh... I started school at 08:20. watch for the steady slum in the nubmer of posts per day :( (except on weekends :D)

yay...........2 and a half days a week tuition, the rest is for work and binge-drnking.

i have 4 weeks of school left..... ever!!! it's so depressing... i'll miss school... well some aspects of it...

Me too...started U about a month ago. 'S tough...though I live in a hostel (boarding house) that's real close to me lectures. I do pop by every free hour I get in here to check up on everyone...no lifer, yes I am! :D

Here in Israel Sunday isn't a free day for anyone. It's the first day of the working week. Israelies do all the weekending on Saturday, and for practising Jews such as myself, this is the holy day of the week and we can't use electricity, drive cars, spend money and the like. So the summer holidays are almost the only free time I have for doing fun stuff. They're two months and a half long, though.

So u go to school 6 out of 7 days every week and on ur day off u can't do anything...? That sucks!

Yeah....where're you studying now? Is it really that tough or do you have shorter working hours?

freshman year sucks! i felt like i had no control of what was infront of me...the upperclassmen were kind of intimidating...^^ i'm an upperclassman now lol so i'm not at all intimidated lol cept most of my friends moved away so i'm not that comfortable at school...=**(

That's another thing. Most Israelies study till 1-1:30 pm, but we religious guys have all these extra Jewish Studies and don't finish school earlier than 4:30 pm (apart from fridays, when we finish at approx noon).

I'm studying in Beit Shean if that helps you, or did I misunderstand your question?

Dam, i hate being a freshman, only had school for 4 days and i am begining to get tired of it cause i had art for my 2 hour class. but thank god that i have a daily rotating scedule. Also i am happy i dont have spanish or french this year, instead i have german which is the easiest languege for me. I am already on the high school track team which is awsome. It just stinks i didn't make the JV Volleybell team. So far i like all my classes except art, but i need to take art no matter what once these next for years so i will get this torture out of the way and i can enjoy my last 3 years in high school.

whats so bad about art? I like art i use to take it in the 8th grade lol something i was good at hee hee...

lol. I'm in year 11. I hate the first days of school. We always get a bloody seating plan. I never actually get to sit where I want to. I wish my girlfriend was in my year and school and class.

damn your society must be behind the times if your complaining about a seating chart cuz i've had a seating chart since the 1st grade

Your going into 11th? Your system of schools are different aren't they? I'm 15 and have 3 more years til college!!!

Its horrible! All my friends are in different classes so I have to sit thru biology without falling asleep (Usually I talk with them to stay awake.) Thank god for anime, pencils, and paper. Not to mention a couple of interesting books :D

You must be a freshie! Freshies suck (the ones at my school do) Good thing I'm no longer one! w00t! and I think biology is cool lol ^ _ ^

Good thing about college is you're doing courses with people who normally share similar interests to you so it's easier to get along with them, whereas in school people are really immature and have the whole puberty ego thing going on :p

I'm not behind with the times at all. I'm up-to-date. I've had a seating plan since my first year and I hate it. I'm always sat next to either the loner or Mr. Unpopular. Or just someone very annoying! I hate school. I didn't like the sound of it in year 5! But Oh well, thats the way it goes. I rather get a good job then not one at all.
