Revolutions DVD Cover?

It's not real.

It's just a composite of scans and stuff available on the web... but the idea would certainly make for a pretty acceptable DVD cover, I'll admit.

Some clues as to its fakeness...

1) All the pictures are widely available photos off the web.

ex. http://whatisthematrix.warnerbros.com/rv_img/revolutions_teaser.jpg

ex. http://whatisthematrix.warnerbros.com/rv_cmp/photos_rev02.html
ex. http://whatisthematrix.warnerbros.com/rv_cmp/photos_rev04.html

2) "Sequal" (sequel) is spelled wrong, as is "dynomite" (dynamite). And honestly, the overall grammar and sentence structure is very poor, and obviously not written by a copywriter.

3) Compare the poor text clarity at the bottom of the backcover vs. the inserted text near the middle of the back cover. The bottom (blurry) text looks like a grainy scan while the clear text in the middle looks like a photoshop (or other gfx prog) insert.

4) The description of "Neo, Morpheus, Trinity, and the rest of their crew continue to battle the machines that have enslaved the human race in the Matrix. " is taken off http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hv&cf=info&id=1808402448&intl=us (although its probably a summary thats widely available elsewhere)

5) DVD Spine number 60467 belongs to "Rambo".

Eh... I don't think any more proof is necessary.

Not bad, but certainly NOT real. :)

It looks pretty cool, I won't mind to have that as the revolutions dvd cover!!

Well mistakes do happen. Even some originals have speeling mistakes (but not as many). Doesn't neccessarily mean it's fake.

If it is just a proof then spelling errors would be expected.

I think there are TOO many spelling or grammar mistakes. This MUST be a fake! ----- or maybe not:D (just kidding)

There's no way thats the cover...If you look on the back of all movie covers, everytime it mentions a character (Ex: Neo) It says the real actors name afterwards, like:

Example Sentance:
Neo (Keanu Reeves) goes in a battle with smith after talking with Trinity (Carrie Ann Moss).

Dumb sentance, but do you see what I mean? And if the text at the bottom is blurry like that and the top is VERY clear, well....anyways....looks like a fake to me...

Maybe it's fake, and maybe it's the first version or an earlier version! As i said before, i found m2 dvd cover half year before the movie released! It had a lot of mistakes, but it was similar to the real one!!!!

Doesn't work. First register with either yahoo web builder or homestead and build a website and put it on there. Then once done, go to the website you've just made and select properties when you right click it. Then copy and paste the full url on properties to your reply post on this site. Your finished post (when submitted) should show an url or link to your picture. Hope this helped. Any problems then just say.

Do you know this by experience of it? Is Yahoo web builder diff from normal yahoo? I'm already registered with Yahoo...

Yes I knew it by experience. I wouldn't now. I use Homestead. I think it's easier. I haven't used Tripod either, I don't think. Can't remeber. Did you understand that ok? Or are you still having trouble? I will gladly assist you on any problems you may have.
