Pretty much A.I. is what its initials mean, Artificial Intelligence.
Artificiaial: Something synthetic, man-made.
Intelligence: The ability to reason and to develop answers to questions and events.
Artificial Intelligence: A synthetic being with the ability to reason and develop questions and answers to events AND to learn from those events.
So in extremely basic terms, A.I. is anything that is man made and can adapt to events. If you want to get more complex, it has to be able to think for itself, give an answer its not programmed to give, something sorta like that.

How smart AI in some computer games is, it is not able to think for itself... it is not able to think at all..

computer games are just enterpretated by the computer as primary numbers so ...thats not really thinking for it self

i feel you pain too and recovering from the spam some people just don't want to give up spamming...like that one guy i begged to stop but wouldn't because he didn't want to say he was wrong and tried to turn it againt me...

There already is AI? Well I don't think so....or at least we haven't been told about it's development yet.
So where is it icy toast? What do you think counts as AI?
I think a computer games ability to develop strategy to best counter against a humans strategy is a very simple form of A.I., allthough you can disagree with me, I think that is extremely simple A.I., almost like prototype.
Sorry, but in this day and time there is no such thing as A.I.
for A.I. to exitst, something man made would have to be able
to have its own "mind" in a sense, and that is something far to comprehendable for the human brain to accknoledge, because they would basically have to build an artificial brain, it is kind of hard to do that, especailly when we know less than five percent about the brain. So sorry to dissapoint all who think there is. It is actually nearly impossible to create A.I. if you think about it. you would have to understand everything about the human brain in order to create such a thing. and a clone would not be concidered A.I. because it's intelligence is real, and living. It is not man made or built, because it is a replicate of another brain.
