The next "one" How would you feel if smith joined the rebels? NeoRunner Heīs way too bad to be a good man! thatīs why I really like him! lol The next "one" yeah, Smith is my favorite matrix character and it would really disgust me to see him as a good guy TheDrakemaster Smith's just too bad... smith_fan Smith good = not possible Smith is the bad guy, that's why I like him so much:) NeoRunner Well, I must confess, Iīm the kind of guy who always like the good ones in the movies, but the matrix is the first time I like the vilan as much as I like the hero! Bamba-MAN Maybe in m3 neo will beat him in a fight, and then smith will realize that if he can't beat him, so he have to join him: "If you can't beat us, join us" - Two Smith To Morpheus Oracle2.0 no way! smith+good= ick. smith is the best villain ever! I wouldn't stand for him to turn good! Besides, he believes his prupose in life is to kill people by cloning them in order to destroy Neo. You don't exactly turn away from that sort of calling. Shinigami Well, the idea of Smith suddenly making a turn would be illogical. His one purpose to this point has been the destruction of Neo. Not to mention that to this point Neo's purpose has been to destroy the matrix, and thus, destroying Smith. It has been made very clear that self preservation is important to Smith, so helping that just isnt going to happen. Not to mention that it would have to rank among the most ghey plot twists ever. SNK BITN The man just cant be trusted :D Truth Originally posted by Shinigami It has been made very clear that self preservation is important to Smith, so helping that just isnt going to happen. Not to mention that it would have to rank among the most ghey plot twists ever. LOL! But is self preservation that important to Smith? In M1 he tells Morpheus that ha 'can't stand it' he longs to 'be free' he want's to get out of the matrix. But, being a program, surely he has nowhere to go? If he could get out, wouldn't that be his destruction? I think what's important to Smith is purpose, and these two ideas don't necessarily reconcile. But, it would truly suck if Smith turned good. How sad would that be? freeyourmind I can't say it didn't cross my mind. I can see Smith fighting alongside the rebels against someone but he'd probably not do it whole-heartedly, and he'd probably back-stab them at some point. But I really don't think Smith will help them at all at any point. That's way too obvious for the W bros. Plus it reminds me too much of Star Wars. View Full Version : smith, a good guy? |
