The Matrix in Animation

Who would want to see the Matrix in animatrix (all threes matrix[s])

That 'would' be cool. With such a story and script the animated version would be bound to be good.

well, the animatrix looked pretty cool. I guess I'd have to see a preview of it, because there are so many different ways to draw animae.

i think the correct spelling should be anime . . . heh my friends correct me all the time at school for things like pronouciation lolz

I remember that there were rumours about one of the Matrix sequels being animated. Now I know it was a mix-up and that they were thinking of animatrix, but when I first heard this I got seriously freaked out.
I HATE 3d movies. Flight of the Osiris was alright, but that was because it was a short movie and had an idea that could only be brought out through animation. But stuff like Final Fantasy I really hate. What's the point of taking all the time and effort to make something look as "real" as possible when what you get in the end is awkward animation,worse acting, and special effects that in the end don't look impressive sice they're so obvious?
It's like a movie filmed by camera, only slightly worse, so what's the freaking point???

uh...to make more money? for artistic purposes(I have no idea what those may be)? I don't know. i saw parts of the screenboard for the movies, which were in anime form, and they looked ok. Like I said, I think it really depends on the type of anime used(notice how i spelled the word right this time:D)

hey ... it could be japanese anime or french cartoons ... it isn't neccessary to be 3D anim. . but why not man ? it's art .. u know it's more difficult to do it animated than to film it and sometimes -i mean in some scenes- it's easier to make animation rather to spend more than a month in one scence ... besides wouldn't u get bored from keanu ? :p kidding ... it's nice to see some new things .. like the animatrix i liked it ....

I think that animating it would ruin the whole "OMG look at the special effects they look so real is that actually happening did they actually learn all that kung fu?!?!?!?" feeling to the movies. Which would suck.

I think Matrix anime would be great as far as showing new plotlines and expanding the Matrix universe©©© When I saw "Detective Story" ¥or whatever it was called¤ I didn't want it to end because it was such a cool story and the plot was pretty sweet© I think it would be great to continue to see more Animatrix style DVDs or even a website with Matrix-related mini-movies that just immerse us even more into the Wachowskis' world, but if there were ever a cheesy Saturday morning cartoon series or something along those lines, I would be unable to watch it because it would ruin the whole Matrix universe for me©

the matrix in animation would be the best thing then you would get real with limits then they could use animation to do all imposible scenes from the movies and make extra sceanes and make it more action packed and juat obver all make the whole matrix all bad A** and have like 7 movies and not just 4 ohh my god this would be the best idea...........
