What is intersting is using ffdshow I watched it without the tints, it took about 10 minutes in ffdshow of watching the same section on a loop and tweaking gamma RGB etc, and now they have flesh coloured skin, the freeway (thats the right USA road??) scene is now in daylight and looks a lot better, in fact the whole film came together more.

I was thinking of re-encoding it with the levels adjusted between scenes so its all natural, yes I watched reloaded in color!. Makes the film a lot better IMHO

I'm a big big fan so I have already preorded the DVD
A5A777

so the film was better without the tints? that would be nice to see
Seba Reloaded

I did notice the tint thing when I saw The Matrix, it's was just great idea. Keep all 'not natural' for me. ;)

uhh, you just admitted that you have an illegal version of
M2 on a M2 forum that is monitored by warnerbros attorneys.

you didin't see what happened to that kid that was caught
downloading T3?

smarten up dude.
Terikan

HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!

you didin't see what happened to that kid that was caught
downloading T3?

Umm, what happened to him exactly? Probably nothing.

I wonder what happened to the 100,000 other people who downloaded T3. Hmmmmm

Just saying that you have done such and such or posses such and such on a message board won't give the fbi the ability to prosecute you just so you know.

I personally think the kid is just a setup. This sort of thing happens every so often, isn't it funny. And I think the whole idea is to scare people because that's all they can do.

okay let me admit to this.

I HAVE A BUNCH OF ILLEGAL MUSIC DOWNLOADED ONTO MY COMPUTER.

like every other person in here. dont run your mouth about crap when you do the same thing. dont try and lie about not having anything illegal on your comp. almost everyone in here, im sure, has music that they didnt pay for on there comp. whats the difference between that a a movie?

damn, come and fine me my 25 bucks for having an illegal copy of reloaded on my computer.

ps. i doubt there are any warner brothers attornies in here. huever said that bullsh*t. and if there are, #### all of them.

Some of you may believe it is funny and that you cannot be caught. Although it is a tough case to prove, it can be proven, especially when you admit to it. Moreover, you are not looking at a $25 fine, you are looking at a $1000 fine and 6 months imprisonment in state court, and additional penalties in federal court.

omg b!tch. its illegal yeah. but am i going to say anything about everyone going 5 miles above the speed limit? no way. there's too many. well, its a law. and there's just as many ppl hu break the speed limit as there is that download music, etc.

im looking at my kazaa right now. there's 2,644,704 user. these users are sharing 4,510,336 GB of illegal files. now thats a crap load of bytes. but come on and take all of us to jail. damn. and WHOA. and thats a lot of money if they fine all of us for sharing files. $2,644,704,000 dollars. DAMN. someones gonna be rich...
RJM

sorry to burst your bubble but IT IS TRUE

so far 673 kazaa users are being sued right now for thousands of dollars each.

the kid who downloaded T3 was arrested same to the person who was caught with a bootleg of Hulk.

dont be stupid and admit to having an illegal copy of anything. you are not annomymus behind your pc. you can be easily be located.

yes there are millions of violaters but admiting to a violation by far increases your chances of being caught.
i c 3 d r p z

dont lie.

why would they sue kazaa users? thats just plain stupid.
if they're going to sue anyone they're going to sue kazaa, not its users. plus, i could go into a store and steal a cd (and get caught) and not have a punishment as harsh as what you're saying downloading music will do.

and hu exactly are these users being sued by? record companies? maybe its just me, but i dont noe how any record company could find out if i have kazaa or not. i guess if they want to take me to jail that bad for having a few download songs, you can come and get me. but be fair, and get the other 2,500,000 users too.
Terikan

still waiting for proof. talk is cheap.
MacLeod

...but a fine isn't Terikan; i'm sure that's the only proof that'll convince you guys from the way you're going. Sure all of us have such things but it's not exactly something to be proud of. you can hide in your anonymity but people do get caught...the chances are low but dun say anything if its your name that turns out next. my country recently went on a fining spree as well and i can see the large drop in users suddenly...
wat i'm saying is you're right in your ways and that we all have a part to play in this ugly business...but ya dun have to be so flamboyant about it
-Keep music original! :)
i c 3 d r p z

o right o right. i agree, i want to support the music i love. i buy the cd's i really like. i buy the bands i like. but when i just like one song, its hard for me to go out and buy the cd.

PLUS, i saw reloaded 4 damn times. i brought i bunch of friends each time. ive given a crap load toward reloaded. i noe its illegal either way, but hey. i feel better having done that.
entRo

You must not get out much if you havn't heard about what the RIAA is doing to kazaa users. They can't sue Kazaa cause it's not based on one location. Kazaa users run kazaa. Their computers act as supernodes, all the downloading is strictly peer to peer and nothing off a kazaa server. The only thing kazaa offers you is their GUI. Admitting it or not probably won't have an affect on whether you get sued, they have many different ways of finding out who's downloading what. Try to download brand new music off kazaa; it's hard because the RIAA is spamming fake files like crazy.

Oh, and for Terikan, since talk is cheap, here's some proof.

SNK BITN

ic3, its pointless arguing, too many perfect angels in here that have never gone over the speed limit or picked up a hooker.

Back to the topic, if you watched the extra features in the first matrix dvd, they gave the whole movie a dark green tint to add to the effect. Although it would be interesting to see the movie without the green filter, I'm gonna give that a try. THanks for the idea!
Terikan

Verizon and a handful of other ISPs and privacy groups have vowed to fight the portion of the DMCA that allows copyright holders to file clerk-issued subpoenas, saying they violate the U.S. Constitution's prohibition on using court powers when there is no pending case or controversy.

Hmmm, doesn't look like they are winning to me :P Two universities told the RIAA to screw off and got away with it so far.
entRo

Does it matter? They've already sent out hundreds of subpoenas and I think that's what you wanted proof of.

I wasn't joking
i c 3 d r p z

every single person i noe has downloaded stuff on there computer. every single one. from music to whatever. trying to stop music downloading would be like trying to ticket EVERYONE that goes over the speed limit.

Take a look at Title 15, Section 512 of the United States Code:

(h) Subpoena to identify infringer.
(1) Request. A copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf may request the clerk of any United States district court to issue a subpoena to a service provider for identification of an alleged infringer in accordance with this subsection.
(2) Contents of request. The request may be made by filing with the clerk--
(A) a copy of a notification described in subsection (c)(3)(A);
(B) a proposed subpoena; and
(C) a sworn declaration to the effect that the purpose for which the subpoena is sought is to obtain the identity of an alleged infringer and that such information will only be used for the purpose of protecting rights under this title.
(3) Contents of subpoena. The subpoena shall authorize and order the service provider receiving the notification and the subpoena to expeditiously disclose to the copyright owner or person authorized by the copyright owner information sufficient to identify the alleged infringer of the material described in the notification to the extent such information is available to the service provider. 15 U.S.C. 512.

This federal law only describes the process for determining who has infringed an intellectual property owner's rights. Thus, your identity can be attained. Further, knowingly taking another's intellectual property without a privilege to do so is Theft, a First Degree Misdemeanor in every state. Such an offense is punishable with six months imprisonment and a $1,000 fine. Alternatively, it could be considered Receiving Stolen Property, which would carry similar minimum punishments.

I hope that answers some questions.

icedrops to your last post: it's impossible to say no one here hasn't downloaded a song but it isn't right too to say we should blatantly do it. What u did on the other hand about going to the movie 4 times is admirable and if u still wanted to clarify things I guess you've just about earned the right to download it...heck I have to. The difference is I'm (and I hope most are) going to buy the V/DVD as soon as its released-I just couldn't wait to dissect the scenes. There's no beating the quality on the discs too. About buying the CD for one song that's a good point too...most of us can't really offord buying CDs just for one song each. but we should try our best...maybe in CDs that have alot that you need? I bought Kerry Moy's CDs though it burned me a hole in my pocket...sometimes its needed. But you're right in the end: they are a tad too expensive :D
Yo SNK BITN...I suppose I'm gonna live a more fulfilling life speeding and having casual sex like you do huh? I'll remember that the next time (in a matter of hours) I hear the latest stats on STDs or the latest accident on the roads. Sorry to be mean but I like being an angel.
icy toast

Hate to break it to you people but...

A. You cant prove that what he admited to is true, there is NO POSSIBLE way to admit that what he is saying is true, and there is no possible way you can be sure if someone is lieing or lieing on a Lie detector thingy.

B. I highly doubt that there are any warner bros attorneys on this board.

C. In the very highly unlikely event someone is arrested under suspecion that they have bootleg material on their computer a quick reformat and and destruction of the pc will prove adaquete that they will never know.

D. DO not say that this is destroying evidence because you can make up some bull**** excuse that you felt a little woozy and knocked it off when you went to lie down.

Maybe you're even right but I download a lot of music e.t.c on Kazaa too. And I have to say, the american law is much harder than here in Germany. And I think in Somalia (i c 3 d r p z) it's the same like in Germany. The police or whoever isn't that rigorously than in U.S - and I know that because my father is a customs official.:)
i c 3 d r p z

i dont really live in somalia guys. i live in the U.S. i just put somalia. i dont noe why....i just did.
