Orphan with spoon

Does anybody know if there's a significance with the Orphan which gave Neo the spoon in reloaded inside Zion.

could this be something deep or just to give Neo hope that he could reach the source? Any suggestions?

There's a theory that says that the spoon in reloaded means that there is no spoon in the real world too.
This theory is very similar to the miam theory, but there is a diffrence.
