I mean, since he does so much fighting in the matrix, wouldnt some of that ability and knowledge be usable in the real world. For instance, if he lets say gets tangled with Bane in Revolutions, would Neo still be able to do the kicks and blocks to some degree without flying off the walls?
Can someone tell me as to why my pic doesnt come up? I did the same as i do on other forums like this.
first off, its the real world, the matrix is just an illusion in his mind (so hes not really doing his kung foo awesome-ness) second of all, they took off pics in the sig because it takes up too much bandwith, which costs them extra money.
yes i understand it is in his mind but he still knows what he is doing. His mind controls his actions and if his mind is able to do martial arts then he should memorize it. Wouldnt the fighting become natural in the real world as it does in the matrix?

Theoretically, they should all be able to use their knowledge of the martial arts, etc, when fighting outside of The Matrix. Of course, their mind and body would have to work together, and they've honestly probably never fought together in that sense before. I'm sure Neo would fight better than he had before he learned kung fu and all of that good stuff, but not as well as inside The Matrix, because he's never fought like that in the real world,and coordination is a much more complex thing when it's not all in your head.
When Neo is fighting Morpheus in The Matrix, Morpheus says something like
"How did I beat you?"
Neo: "You're too strong"
Morpheus: "do you think my being stronger, or faster, have anything to do with my muscles, in this world?"
You would assume, just from appearances, that if Neo fought Morpheus, at that time, Morpheus would win, because he looks stronger.
Morpheus would have been doing jumps and stuff in the matrix for ages (you would think) before Neo came along, and there's a line somewhere in it that makes certain that they can't do the things in the real world (but I can't remember it properly).
BUT Neo stopped the sentinels at the end of The Matrix Reloaded, so maybe his abilities have travelled with him. Maybe there's a Matrix in a Matrix, and he's freed his mind in the new Matrix. Maybe they're in a different area of the Matrix, and he's seen through the illusion. But probably there's another explanation. It'll be in The Matrix Revolutions.
once wrote a fanfic together with a friend of mine. he, called Dodger, was a sword fighter from Zion, and she, Siron :D, was a girl in the matrix discovering her oracle-like skills. And I wanted him to get like neo, a "one" outside the matrix. Hm, I don't think it's possible in the movies, but keep in mind, what IS the real world, cuz such things are able within "our" world too (if you for example have experiences at matrial arts); (again and again... the "can a matrix exist in real"-stuff, I'll stop it here)
whatever...i think that neo would be able to do some of his moves.
