Counting Down to The Matrix Revolutions

Oh man I can hardly wait to finally see it! Frankly, I think the way TPTB are taking so long to post any updates (multimedia) regarding Revolutions is really building the suspense which will lead to that many more people wanting to see it. Though I still hope the official website posts an update (any update) soon. This is nuts!

I'm jsut going to have to shut my eyes if I see anything about Revolutions. I really want to know, but it'll ruin bits of the film. That's why I didn't like Reloaded as much as I should have, because I saw everything about it before I went to see it, and I'd probably already seen about 60% of it before I actually saw it properly.

I can't believe we have to wait now less then 3 months to see revolutions, it's so close if u think about it

Yeah, there were too many Reloaded Trailers. Although, if they do it the same way with Revolutions I'll probably watch all trailers again. 87 days remaining!!!!

i can't do a countdown...it's too depressing. I can't wait 87 days! i just can't! whaa!!

I've made my own Matrix Rev. calendar. And I started with 146 days remaining. But when you see all those days that are already away - 87 days aren't that much anymore.

Hm, I downloaded that animated countdown thing, and I set the clock on my computer to the day of the released date. The clock says "JET2T IMKIND"

Maybe just a glitch, but no matter what day I put the clock on my comp to, as long as it's after the release date, it says that. Any input?

First off, this thread is clearly on topic with Revolutions. I don't HAVE to talk about anything else if I don't want to. But I have many times talked about many things in other threads. I posted the Reloaded script in its own thread (http://www.matrixreloaded.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3594) from memory. The title of this thread clearly states it's a countdown thread. Furthermore, if the mods had a problem with its existence, it would've been closed by now. This isn't spamming either. Many boards have had countdown threads in anticipation for a big movie as far as 100 days in advance. So please don't tell me what to do.

Alright! We are halfway there, halfway down from 100! And with all that has happened with the TV spots and all, I remain as excited as ever for the release of the movie. With that said I now say:

i downloaded your amazing text file of The Matrix Reloaded. Man, that was really worth some praise. now, what i did, was: i divided the text into many parts and pasted them on my Powerpoint slides. then i added relevant pictures to each part of the text. the result turned out to be great as i added a few avatars too so you could actually see the action being described in the text. i wanted to share that on the site, but unfortunately the file's too massive to be uploaded (several MBs). in fact i just wanted to thank you for having done this great job.

by the way, keep the countdown going. : )

Yes. I think I went insane after coming out of theaters after watching Reloaded the second time, even then I was waiting for it to come out on DVD. And At the same time I was insane with anticipation for Revolutions, after seeing the preview at the end of Reloaded. I feel your pain, lol.

How's The DVd Jake?

OK, Looking at it fairly (Now that the post DVD purchase novelty has worn off...): The DVD cover is crap, the discs are not gold coloured (not really important but it would make them feel as if they're worth more), the extra features are OK but don't go into enough depth (But being fair they're good, not enough of them though), don't know if there are Easter Eggs yet (Hope there are). Perhaps the best thing is the quality of the film itself (graphics wise and the fact it's just a cool film).

I was really, really looking forward to the DVD (ever since the film was released at the cinema) and I think I was expecting too much. Don't get me wrong I love the DVD but I really wanted more.

BTW, had enough of brackets yet? (No?)

BTW, If you're in the UK I recommend Tesco for one of the best prices at £15:95 for the DVD and a close second to WHSMITH at £16:99 (If you've preordered it you get 4 free posters). Of course, for legal reasons I must mention that there are other shops which also sell the DVD and may give you such a price etc etc.

what kinds of previews for revolutions does the dvd have ?

The only preview is the teaser at the end of the Reloaded credits. All Revolutions trailers are on the website.

Like reading a good book and getting attached to the characters and you really don't want to turn to the last page.

Someone either intentionally or inadvertently unstickied this thread when this board was converted it seems and it somehow wound up in The Matrix Reloaded forum. I originally asked Luc to sticky it so it would always be readily available. But it became unstickied after the conversion. I asked any moderator that saw this to sticky it again and move it back to the Revolutions forum. The latter has been done, but not the former. If I see Luc, I'll have to ask him to sticky it.

Ok, i'm steamed that i didn't win the tickets for the Matrix Marathon that my local cinema is showing, meaning that i have to wait till the 8th to watch the movie. To all who will watch Revolutions before me, I envy you.:(

I know this sounds strange, but I almost wish Revolutions wasnt comming out for a year or so. Cuz once we see it, its over. No more expectations, no more hype.

I don't feel like sitting in the theater for six hours, so I'm glad they aren't doing the marathon thing where I'm at. I'm just going to watch both movies at home on wednesday before going to the theater.
