Can u get in the lift in training

In the second room in training, in the area with the plank. Can u get in the lift, if so how.

When I done it I ws able to go into the lift without doing anything as far as I'm aware. However try going into the room under the hanging covers and killing all the swat team members there first.

I can't remember what I done for that. I didn't do much though. anyway good luck with it.
