Matrix or Matrix Reloaded...

Matrix had the story that gripped so many fans, but did Matrix Reloaded live up to the expectations?

Not really....I mean...near the end of the movie, they rushed through things to fast and I guess the initial shock from the first movie when it explained everything was more interesting than the continuation of it all....I just hope M3 won't be a let down....*I want it to have a concrete ending but I know it won't*.....

I generally thought Matrix Reloaded was good. It went over the top a few times but not seriously over the top. It wasn't much of a let down. What makes you so sure that Matrix 3 won't have a concrete ending? It might continue again. I hope not. I hate waiting. :D

I'm sure that there is no way Revolutions will have a solid ending.....there's too much story and plot to be revealed for just one more movie. And if they did cram it all in M3, then I would be seriously disappointed but I know it won't happen because it goes against the movie trailers' scenes. I don't believe the Wachowskis would screw us over like that anyway

I agree. Soz if this sounds korny, but I have faith in them.

M2 was directed so differently in so many ways, that it would be very easy for it to look crapy or not as good as M1. But M2 did lived up to my expectations. Can't wait for Revolutions: 3 months and 29 days...

You know what we could do? Send the W Bros. an e-mail asking them if they could possibly send us a copy of the movie as soon as they finish editing it.

I wasn't too pleased with Reloaded because the fight scenes got rediculously long. Especially where all the Agent Smiths try to beat up Neo.

I liked the feeling M1 had vs. M2. It's a classic.
It was just soo original and wasn't so heavily CG filled as much as M2 was. Not that CG bothers me or anything, it just sucks when you can tell too much CG is being used....like in the burly brawl scene when Neo starts jumping around ontop of all the Smiths.

M1 had more of a human feeling/element to it vs. M2's machine feel, and some corny scenes (end of morpheus's speech + music that cues in - felt like a scene outta The Sound of Music). Of course, as they say, the first one is always the best one, whenever there's a series.

Don't get me wrong tho, I like M2 a lot. It's just another elevated level of the bigger story and some people just don't like to see it that way & bash the movie. I'm waiting patiently for 11.05.

But all in all, I'd have to say M1 is the best so far.

I agree Matrix 1 was better than the second. Matrix 1 was more catching than the second one. I think in Matrix 2 they used bullet time were it wasn't neccessary. Like when Trinity and Morpheus were trying to get away from the twins and they go down that tunnel. They used bullet time just to slow down some shooting. But the agent jumping from the cop car to the car in the middle (causing it to flip up) and then onto the car Trinity was driving. That was truely amazing.
