Male or Female

When I first joined this site I was under the impression that the ratio of Male to Female was about 4:1, but over the past few months I've come to the impression that its about 2:1 or maybe even 1:1. Well my curiosity has gotten the best of me and I'd like to figure out the correct ration once and for all.

How about we add a little twist to this one to make it more interesting?
