The Matrix Online

In here, you can talk about the upcoming Matrix MMORPG, The Matrix Online. Are you looking forward to it's release? Do you think it will be a huge success? Are you planning to wait impatiantly, talking to strangers about your overwhelming anticipation? Or are you planning to camp out in the parking lot of your local video game retailer a week before it's in stock, equiped with a tv set, The Matrix movies, and lots o' food ( like I'm doing)?

what is that matrix online? when does it come out?

I am soo lookin forward to TMO.......Luc's workin on a bigger brother forum to cover it. I seen a couple of shots and thought the game looked wicked.

I'm not sure. I heard it's a massive online forum/game that takes place after M3. It's sort of an interactive sequel, I understand. I'm not sure about the details, though.

Then when we come to play it... We find out it's a BIG dissapointment. I hope not. But then I don't really think it's going to be successful, especially if they put stupid things in like cars in multiplayer.

I am DEFINATLY looking forward to it, since many people (including the members of this site, I hope) will be able to fight for the humans OR maybe have a chance being an agent. I'm pretty sure the creators are hard at work making customizable character features ( including costumes, hair styles, etc.)

What would your ideal character look like?

Mine would have flame red short hair, red longcoat, and red reflective sunglasses. I'm going for a fiery look.

Good. The more potential players, the better. Turns out there's also going to be a monthly fee to play and take part in the forums in it. I am unsure of the monlthy price though.

how is the RPG going to work though? is it going to be a text RPG? or will it be virtual roleplaying? or will it be like a game?

I haven't a clue. Either way it is probabily still going to be exciting! :)

The main game will be virtual role playing, but there will most likely be other rpgs taking place in the games forums.

Yeah.. At least now no one can say I stole it. I really liked it too. But I was hoping to have one from where the agents are shooting neo and then Neo stops the bullets. But oh well. I'm fine with this one. Is the game going to be in post form or something where people write what they thinks going to go next or similar. I haven't the foggiest. I'm just guessing! :)

The game will be like Enter The Matrix except it will be online, be much longer, and will have a forums for posting. And it probably will look and play better than Enter The Matrix.

I hope so! Enter The Matrix (In my opinion) lacked loads of details! It was as if they tried to rush it and forgot about what rating it could get by putting what they left out in. I mean, Multiplayer was a waste. It sucked, to me. But I have high hopes for the new Matrix Online game. I hope I won't be dissapointed! :)

Well, Matrix Online has been in the works for a while now and still won't come out for a while, so I think we can expect great things to come from this game. There's alot of work being put into it to make up for the dissapointment of ETM.

I still think there is a very small chance that our hopes could go to waste. There is a tiny chance that we could be once again dissapointed with the satisfactory quality and fun of Matrix Online. It might not live up to the expectations. It'll have to be mind blowingly good to last a minute with me! lol :D

Hopefully with access to being a moderator of these forums ( which they'll probably prove by asking for my email and emailing me two seperate emails and ask me to merge them .. which they usally do for beta testing ) I can become an offical free beta tester for it, and then I can tell you guys how good it is.


Other than that, Unfortunately I won't be able to pay for the Pay to Play game.. I never have been able to, I don't own a credit card, nor will I ever. I do want to try this though. ( Hopefully it doesn't turn out like Enter The Matrix,... Chopstick meat mixed with Milaria combined into an uneven and hard to digest soup. )

Yes, I agree with the above! I want to avoid any let downs if possible. I already got let down by ETM!
