in the end of the the matrix reloded you here 'THE FATHER OF THE MATRIX' say that there were 7 versions of the matrix. now, my theory is that when one version of the matrix became obselete 'THE FATHER OF THE MATRIX' built the new version of the matrix in the old one and how else do you explain neo stopping the sentinals by putting his hand out ,which he can only do in the matrix!!!!!

Your theory is what is known as MIAM (Matrix in a Matrix)...it is how most of the Newbies, including myself, often start off in this forum. Those who have been here a long time really seem to hate the fact that noobs tend to jump right in with that as though no one had ever thought of it before...therefore, it is suggested that you browse the forum and see what other posts exist on the MIAM theory before posting your ideas...no offense intended...just trying to save you before someone else gets to you...good luck and happy browsing...

ok i've come up with a new theory (surprise, surprise) maby 'THE FATHER OF THE MATRIX' was try telling neo just what he wanted to hear when he said 'the one is a glitch in the matrix' just like the oracle did, so he isn't a glitch and the prophecy is true and that is why he stopped the sentinal. there is that better!

I know the MIAM theory is false, ive been around long enought o figure that out now, and we could talk for yonks tryin to settle on it.

Methinks what your trying to say is that the Architect and all his little wizz bang machines built the new matrix OVER the new one, meaning that the Rebels are in the OLD matrix?
well, everyone else is saying that the machines built the Zion world to control the Zionites, not that they built an older version of the Matrix, it failed and rebuilt it on top, like a system repair maybe..

.. they may be programs ... or the "visualisations" of the people still plugged in the MIAM ... that questions has many possible answers.

but i still don't figure how did neo that EMP stuff ...

hmmm zion being an old matirx is just another way of looking at the miam theory.

it would also mean that there would be seven of them and infact zion would be number 6 and the one there tyring to free pople from would infact be number 7. just out of interest how many people are on the zion council. i cant remember. but if its 6. you may be looking at the 6 previous ones!

Amd a ,imd camt be releaded from the matrix - if it reaches a certian age. so everyone ont hat councilw ould ahve to have been there from the beginning!

this is my theory. being that the matrix is modeled after the real world, (and to those who believe in it, it is the real world) Neo is able to understand the physics, inside and outside of the matrix because they are one in the same. This "code" that he is seeing could very well be the same "code" we interpret through our everyday lives. Maybe he is beginning to believe/realize that he can also bend these same rules in the real world by believing he can.
