best scene The Matrix

My favorite scene of the first movie is beyond any doubt the scene where Neo and Trinity enter the military complex and start shooting the place up.
Astonishing!

...cos it sets the stanard for the rest of the movie. And the image of a floating/levetating Trinity in tight black latex/leather can never ever be erased from my dreams :D
I'd take a beating from her any day ;)

My favorite scene in m1 is when morpheus fakes out neo with a sidekick! morph looked hella funny before the fake out! lmao!

the big helicopter crash...the glas sis so amazing...and dont 4get the subway...agent smith is the man

Everytime someone got their ass beat was my highlight of the movie....

A good example of this would be the Morpheus VS. Agent Smith fight....It was so beautiful, it was like poetry in motion...LoL....

For visual effects then I'd pick any fight sequence, but for coolness I'd have to say the first time we hear Smith's voice:D

Maybe, but I wouldn't count on that.

I wouldn't put any money on it either, but if we think in the big scheme of things like we do about every little detail in the films (not complaining, I love it) then it has to happen. maybe not many on this page but id have to say a few hundred thousand hate him (and may they be struck down in coolness by smith)

I agree! So much better than the "Ghost in the Shell" version, and better again because it was live-action!

Of course, like someone else said, the first scenes w/ Trinity also rocked-- when she and Smith are breaking all the laws of physics... I was so confused! It was great. I thought they were machines at 1st.

My favorite scene is in teh first Matrix, the lobby shooting spree and in matrix realoaded when neo kicked the **** out of the 100 Agent Smiths...amazing

I also really liked Neo flying at the beginning of Reloaded. It's very rare to see a scene with someone flying in it being as good as this one got.

It wasn't near to my favourite scenes though!:D

I totally agree that scene was amazing.

Best fight in M1 to me is neo v. morpheus in training.

I feel invinsible when I see that part. :D

Talking about music, Rage against the Machine's soundtrack at the end was also great as it is with the end of m2.

Totally agree. The best scene I have ever seen. And that end. When Neo and Trinity enter the elevator and camera shows us the smashed lobby. Anytime I see it I am so happy.

yeah, i agree too.
but, i have many favourite scenes in The Matrix.
That, when agent smith says: your men is allready ded,
The Holy ****,-scene, and
"i hate this place, this zoo, .."

All 3 times I watched it my eyes focused on something different. So much to see!

I especially love that moment when Neo knocks down the last security guard in that lobby. Neo jumps up, kicks the guard down and then land in a slow motion, his body still twisting and his coat still blowing behind him.

my fav seen is the head on crash between the two lorries with morpheus and da key mker on top and neo saves them

I've watched alot of action movies, plus i'm an avid fan of chinese kung-fu action flicks. I'd have to say that the lobby scene in Matrix 1....ranks as one of the best action sequences ever created.

And it definetly ranks tops as my favorite of M1, in M2 however i'd have to say that the Neo vs 100 Smiths is like watching an old Shaw Bros. movie ( that's 70's early 80's kung fu flicks for you youngsters ). Although it's a little fancier with todays computer imagery.

Kudos to the Matrix films for setting a new standard for action films.

Oh yeah, when Neo first dodges the Bullets in Matrix 1 was totally mind-blowing, and the agent that watched it would have to agree, since his were blown out right after.....


Which leads to one of my favorite lines from Matrix 1........

Personally my favorite fight is in Matrix Reloaded when Neo fites all the doubles of agent smith.....that is sooo hott...that fite scene is mad long too and he special effects were outstanding.......

My favorite scene is undoubtedly the scene where neo mentally realizes that he is the one and undergoes a mindwarping metamorphosis, when facing agent smith in the subway terminal
that was a critical turning point in the whole saga and the fight scene was amazing. It showed us that neo was undoubtedly the one, but also he still had lots to learn from his transformation.
The repeated blows from the smith was an awesome scene of special effects, i may add.

The scene of duplication was imeasurably the best fight scene of any movie ever created by anyone in the history of action films.
It made my eyes water, i was like a little boy in a candy store. The computer animation was amazing. It probably took weeks of rendering to complete the scene. The computer animators of the matrix deserve hats off applause. The scene was amazing i was speechless. It was most prodigious
