Hey Luc

Neo 5555

A WHILE A GO YOU BANNED COLER WRITING FROM NOOBS BUT I STILL CANT USE COLOR
TheDrakemaster

It annoys me more often than that it cheers me up...
Aquinas

I really don't think that it matters much...for one thing, it makes everything more difficult to read...but I guess that depends on what color you use...but still, it's just a hassle. I say NO color fonts as all.:)
TheDrakemaster

Idd. No problem with colours, but most people have the annoying habbit of picking dark practically unreadable colours...
Aquinas

True, let me refrase that: No extremely dark and unreadable colors!:)
Atari

I dont see that it matters wether we can write in green or red or whatever. If you make it so colour text is availabe only after a certain number of posts, people will only spam to get the total.

Atari, why are they still going on about 50 posts. And are you feeling as old as I am right now? Remember when we just posted and really enjoyed Helixs' generic avatars?

I think I have been away from the site for wayyy too long. With no disrepect to the new members on here, can we not obsess with this futile 50 posts and you get colour fonts, or 50 posts and you get to choose your title? Or here's another one. Spamming to get a custom avatar. Just leave it up to mods and admin to decide, and I truly feel this thread should have been put into the suggestions and feedback forum.

igh dunt lighk kolR wrightins.

they're to hard to read. whenever i do see one in color, i just skip it. so, if you want more ppl to read your posts, make it easier to read and dont post in something that i have to work at to read.
funkyhorror

so you never read my posts because they are in orange?

i don't think coloured writing should be banned... for the obvious reason... but dark colours, or other colours that just hurt the eyes shouldn't be allowed to be used... or something...

I personally love your colour. It has been orange for god knows how long now and I instantly know it's you when I scroll down.
Atari

People seem to fuss over the smallest things now. Regarding colour, when you see a funkyhorror post, you expect it to be orange. When you see a Xeirhut post, you expect it to be red.

Maybe it should be a privalige for mods only, so people can be certain of who the mods are, but that's just my opinion.

And yes UT, I remember back when times were simpler, when people posted because the wanted to post, not simply to get the ability to have a custom avatar or custom title. Maybe the custom av limit is too low.

Again, just my opinion.
Luc

ehh. all good ideas guys.

first off, colors are not banned (as far as I know), you can still
use them if you hand do the tags.

now. i wanted to do some cool stuff for senior members, things
like glowing username, user points (redeemable for member
services, etc). unfortunately, the scripts i've gone through
don't really fit our design and template.

this will be taken care of on the new forum (MatrixOnlineForum.com)
i think i'll just copy all of the members from here to there this
way you guys don't have to re-register.

stay tuned, soon enough you'll have an awesome new forum
to hang out on, and i guarantee that MatrixOnlineForum will
be MUCH MUCH larger than this one (if the game is any good).

:)
NightHawk

Wow, there is going to be a new forum! I can't wait....When is it going to be finished?
Jetfire

I agree that it would be harder to read.
