I've been at this forum for a while, and I've noticed that there's an abundance of you running around trying to make up your own theories for some sort of status symbol, but seriously.
A lot of you are quite ignorant to the facts this movie presents, and are more intrigued by the images your imagination is creating while watching it. You come up with far fetched ideas like Locke being an Agent. How utterly RIDICULOUS.
A lot of your "ideas" (and that's all they are people, theories are ideas with facts to support them, and honestly, most of you here have no idea what you're talking about.) are so mindless, and the only reasonable explanation I can come up with for you people being like this is nothing more than trying to gain status by saying "I founded this theory."
Well wake up! Holy ducks, even the stupidest theories I've read on this forum (the man being led out of the restaurant is Neo in the future. Seeesh! What are you going to say now? The orgasm girl was Switch brought back to life?) have probably been thought up by someone else before you. You're not the founder of anything.
Honestly, there are maybe 5 intelligent theories on this forum, and believe it or not, Matrix in another Matrix is one of them. It's very intelligent, well thought out, has facts to support it. The only thing it doesn't have going for it is its believability as the conclusion to a trilogy like this..
But either way. I know I haven't been around here as longer as others, but take this with a grain of salt. I'm trying trying to encourage you to be more rational and reasonable with your ideas, instead of flooding this forum with senseless nonsense. I agree with you in many ways, but you should accept some people's curosity. The Matrix is a confusing movie with lots of secrets. Some people just maybe have a feeling about things and want to share it. They are not trying to sound stupid to some people I think you should maybe just leave them alone and not care about what other people are thinking. Well thanks for a nice, calm reply. But I can't help myself become totally frustrated by the nonsense here. Since there are some VERY interesting theories here, like the phone call at the end of Matrix being the last scene of Revolutions. BRILLIANT. I'd LOVE it if stuff like that was written here more often, but in order to read through it, I have to sort through the other mindless babble. It's a shame. No matter how ridiculous you may believe some of the theories on this site to be...regardless of other's thoughts, whether you agree with them or not, EVERYONE has the right to post.
You can debunk their "theories" all day if you want, but you can't tell people not to post because YOU think they're stupid.
Let's face it, The Matrix is about freeing one's mind. So is this site. Therefore, if someone wants to say something about an idea they had, they should be allowed to. Who knows? One of these "stupid" ideas could lead any one of us to a higher thought...give the people a little slack...you may have such a high IQ that you are on the Architect's level of thinking, but some people are not...so cut them some slack...be a little more...patient, ok?
If someone says something stupid, fine, call them on it...refute it...whatever...but remember...this is a forum for all types of discussion, is it not? As for your reply...sorting through the mindless babble to get to the stuff worth reading (paraphrasing)...well, that's life, isn't it? We've gotta wade through all the $#!+ to get to the stuff worth checking out, right? Hitman, nice sorting out. I agree that there is a lot of nonsense going on in this forum (believe me, the forum I was attending before I noticed this one, was far worse, people just trying to break eachother down with words), but you cannot blame anyone for that.
There will always be different levels of thinking in people, that's how the world is, and this site is just a part of that world.
I wish it was different too though...there could be a lot more going on on these forums.
Precious time is lost with scanning all the nonsense for something interesting. But the same thing goes for the people that are interested in those threads. They'd probably be bored out of their minds when they read something you've written.
Just choose the things you like, and forget about the rest. Don't get annoyed by it, just enjoy the fact that you can choose not to get into such a conversation. (If you don't like banana's, you just don't buy them, you don't ask the manager of the supermarket to stop selling them right? ;- )
But still, there are some people around here that actually have good ideas, and I think it's nice to philosophise with them. using your example merovech, let's say you went to a supermarket, looking for good food, and all they had was bananas? that would be annoying, wouldn't it? I have 3 new theories:
(1) Locke is an agent;
(2) The man being led out of the restaurant is neo in the future, and (my favorite theory of all);
(3) The orgasm girl is Switch brought back to life.
That's right, you heard it here. Give me the blue ribbon. I hate to be a smart ass (not really), but Strike Anywhere, sometimes going out on a limb, even if it is just based on a feeling, leads to an unexpected discovery. Especially in a forum like this one, where people may help each other iron out their "theories" or create theories based on ideas.
By the way, those who think precious time is lost scrolling through the junk to get to the treasure, needs to reevaluate why they are in this forum if their time is so precious. It's only science fiction (or is it?). #2 wsa trippy...thats reallllllly good.....the others are not however Look, dude, that's the point of this forum.

#1-locke is the commander...why would he be an agent...only smith can un tap himself into the real world...why would other agents be able to do it?

Most of the time, people can be compared with those bananas, and somethimes it may seem there's nothing but bananas in this world.
However, a lot of people appear to be bananas on first sight, but when you peel them they prove to be a lot less mushy than you expected them to be.
Nothing wrong with a good old banana from time to time though. Bannana Smoothies are the best though. Its just the internet, if you dont like it, keep scrolling or hit up a more "intellegent" site. Greetz, Cyqu A newbie forum would be used for newb questions about the movie that have been covered repeatedly. Theory discussion can be held in this forum. Its not like its a difficult thing to make another forum. okay... that's a good idea... but this wasn't the reason... this is about somebody not appreciating other peoples theories... you don't have to be a newbe to come up with not so great theories... it CAN happen that they miss a little detail... but that is not a reason to become frustrated (like Strike Anywhere) ... cuz, buddy... if you already get frustrated from this, you are gonna have a real hard time the rest of your life...
Maybe there should be a Matrix-theorie-forum ...so theories are save from agressive behaviour... just my oppinion...

Talking about the movie, according to your ideas, theories, mind blablabla... Neo would never have accepted Morpheus theories because they were unrational, impossible, stupid, crazy.

I'm glad my sister has another mind than me... you are gonna have a really hard time if you don't like other peoples minds and ideas... cuz we are all different... I suggest you find some help if you get frustrated from some small things on this forum!...
Greetz, Cyqu Ultimately, I think it's safe to assume that the general consensus of people that have participated in this thread, and most likely the majority of people contributing to this site, is to tolerate people's ideas, no matter how assinine they may seem to you. After all, I'd be willing to bet that there are several people who would read some of even your theories and shake their heads in disbelief and/or disgust. No offense intended...the point is that everyone is entitled to their opinion...you, me, and every other poster here...so we've got to tolerate each other. We can discuss and dispute the ideas...after all, that's part of what this forum's about...and if you think something's stupid, why even bother responding to it? Move on, you know?
